Yep thoughts to him and his family.
I’m already getting the “will run through brick walls” feeling from him. Fantastic attitude

each to their own and it may help him to play which is fair enough, but I would personally go and mourn with my family. There will always be another football game

i remember when my grandad passed away that i was just into a new job and i informed my boss that i would need a day off for the funeral. My boss then said what about today. I said that i couldn’t afford the time off so soon into my job. He forced me to go and spend time with my family, and i am so glad he did. Top guy. Oh, and he didn’t even take it off my annual leave allowance

Need to be careful with this. He might want to keep this loss as private as possible.

It's already in the public domain. LJ talked about it in his interview. Condolences Marijan.

When I was playing I remember I wanted to play the week I lost my grandad, who was like a dad to me..it gave me extra drive and determination, we got a penalty and I wanted to hit it, thankfully did and scored, everyone's different. Go on Marijan, do the old man proud💚

I think that is spot on. We need to respect his wishes but also make sure he is aware he can change his mind at any time. If it doesn't feel right, even after KO, just make the bench aware and make sure support is on hand.

yeah that’s what i was trying to get at. everyone will deal with these things in their own way, just hope he realises he can change his mind whenever he needs to
