A good ol’ fashioned Robbie Replay jambottling
Is the correct term.
It's in their DNA, whether you're talking about the jambottle job at Dens in 1986 or the jambottle job against St Mirren in 2020 that would have seen them avoid their most recent relegation.

:agree: It's a pretty incredible stat considering their record against us and the fact that he played for them for nearly 10 years and has managed them for nearly 5 years.
However it is true, I believe Neilson's record as a player and manager of Hearts and also Dundee Utd at Easter Road is;
P - 15
W - 0
D - 8
L - 7

Or the 2-0 Jambottling in our incredible cup run at home with ten minutes to go.
Oh, Robbie Replay was in charge then too.

Lost the league title not just once but twice on the final day. Both times when they had the advantage.
And they talk about 'Hibsing' it? Biggest bottle merchants in Scottish football history

Couldn’t hack the pressure of playing against a Brora Rangers team who only had been able to train four times and had played a single digit amount of games in twelve months.

ive said it before but I’ll say it again. The 65 jambottling was even more ‘Glorious’ than 86. How do you lose a title from that position 😂

Thats incredible. Never knew that stat. Agent Neilson indeed. He must think 'here we go again' every time he goes to Easter Road. However I bet yesterday probably around 3 minutes into the 5 added for injury time he thought 'oh my God, I'm about to win at Easter Road for the first time here and its going to be scenes. I'll lap it up with the Hearts faithful and......oh ****** RIGHT OFF BOYLE YOU C***'

Im pretty sure they have lost in 3 scottish cup finals in past 4 years. Two of the finals they were in the lead 😁 Yet they arent shy in calling us bottle jobs , think that surpasses any of our own failings in Scottish cup finals. Its actually comical listening to Hearts fans , brass necks and constantly thinking they are some sort of powerhouse when in reality they are insecure wee diddies

I remember them being 2 up against Celtic at tynecastle in romanov era around 2006 , they believed they were challenging celtic for the league and was a vital game around xmas time. Anyway, they did not disappoint us all & done their usual bottle job and ended up getting beat 3-2 just like we knew they would

i try not to let my intense dislike of them cloud my judgement too much. I’ll give good hearts teams credit where it’s due. The late 50s/early 60s side… top drawer..
but.., I try to think of another club in Britain with the same level of misguided arrogance and pomposity having achieved so little in the last 60 odd years.., and I honestly can’t.
Big team? What planet are they on?
