I notice on Hibs fan info for today they are advising avoiding Great Junction St after the game due to a gathering and March.
Does anyone know what this is ?

Have searched about can’t see anything on line about a March .
Maybe the council have went back to the 70’s 80’s and gave permission for an Orange Walk. :greengrin
Whatever it is surrounding area is going to be a nightmare.
Can’t be bothered with these 12 o’clock kick offs usually take the car , today early bus into Leith couple of pints after game then bus home when things a bit quieter. :flag:

Well there is a cycle event From South Queensferry via Bo'ness With about 60 riders
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-two-bridges-six-provinces-charity-cycle-run-2022-registration-291225923577
and an associated walk

Both show a scotmid car park as the location but the routes don’t seem to go anywhere near the one in leith
but they are in the edin council xls file of parades and marches permission again with scotmid car park 9.45 - 14.00

Maybe they got the wrong scotmid car park???

The good news is parts of Leith walk have reopened after some tram works…
The bad news is it’s still quite busy.
The traffic lights at top of Pilrig Street are slow and takes forever to get through.
Supposedly there is no longer a tram stop at York place ?
You also can’t drive from McDonald Road across past Tesco to Brunswick Place - it’s now 1 way for cars coming onto Leith walk which is a joke.
Seems they are really trying to stop cars crossing Leith walk which is making the top and bottom of the walk so much more busy.

Surely the tram is nearly open now?

Spring 2023 I think..
The road part opposite Albert Place seems nearly complete now but still loads of roadworks at other parts.

As someone who lives on Junction Street I'd avoid it if you can, it has been a nightmare for a while now and queues tend to go the whole length of the road with slow movement.

So it will be finished in 2025 or thereabouts then😁
