Mates over from NZ and is unfortunately of the jambo persuasion. Would be good to see the game with him but what's a central and relatively neutral bar to do so? He'll have some family that aren't all that fussed with him too.

I was thinking phoenix but is that still showing games after its posh makeover?

If I had a jambo in my family I wouldn’t be fussed with him either :greengrin

Show them the cultural experience of a visit to Shandwicks, a must see during the festival (probably be some interesting free acts on show). 😉

In my experience there’s never any way of knowing how ‘neutral’ a city centre bar is, as long as it’s showing the game it can get engulfed by fans of either side at any given day. You mentioned the phoenix, I’d say the Broughton street area is more likely to be Hibs but who knows really.

Joseph Pearce might be a good shout if you’re going to the game together?

The Fox and Faun at the West End will be ok as long as no colours on show. Great staff too.

Harp and Castle is pretty neutral I've heard. I'm sure your pal will be made to feel welcome in there!
