Yes the wheelchair user pays the cost of the price band they fall into (adult, child etc) and the carer is included in the cost of this.

thank you. it’s for my mum. she hasn’t been to a game for so long that she won’t be registered on the system they have but i am. would i have to register her to buy a disabled ticket or can i buy it myself. She is wheelchair bound with parkinson’s so highly unlikely to cause hooligan unrest at the game!!

I think your mum would need to be on the database in order to buy tickets for a category A match. My understanding is that because you're not the one who is the wheelchair user you wouldn't be eligible to buy a wheelchair and carer ticket, this would need to be your mum who does that and as I said if she's not on the database she won't be able to do that.

She'll definitely be eligible for purchasing a ticket for category B matches though but will probably be required to send proof of her disability to the ticket office beforehand such as a PIP or DLA letter from the DWP.

I'd maybe get in touch with the ticket office regarding the purchasing of category A tickets though. That's only my understanding of the situation so I may be wrong and the fact you're on the database may mean it's ok.

Let me know how you get on.
