Had a lot of stick after a promising start to his Hibs career. A lot of it unfair in my opinion.

Hopefully this goal gives him a boost

The abuse the lad gets is mental. That’s my opinion before he scored today.

Some games he was poor last season but for me the whole balance was off and he was wrongly the fall guy for a lot of it.

He has some very good attributes and a great attitude.

Well done Josh.

Should be a starter no doubt.🙏🏻
This boy has plenty to offer hibs,It’s good to get a day where he’s saved our bacon after a dismal display from his midfield team mates.

Good to start with three points but work to do in this team.

Timed it at 33 seconds after taking the pitch that the loudmouths behind us in the main stand shouted abuse at him.

His attitude is impeccable and his pressing is excellent. There’s a decent player in him if people will just look.

Amazingly, Henderson is also a “little ****”

Well done Josh Campbell in digging us out to get the win.

He has significantly more character than the cowards hiding behind mobile devices relentlessly abusing him.

Tonight will be a bittersweet result for many fans.

Disnae matter if it was going in, the Hibs player with the last touch is the goalscorer. I'd be delighted for Josh if he was awarded it, but did Pat Stanton score the 6th at Tynie (video evidence welcome 😉)?

He shouldn't be a starter as we have better, takes nothing away from todays performance when he came on, and there wasnt any dismal displays, maybe actually go to a game for a change and watch them

Brilliant he got the goal and happy for him but he's nowhere near a starter. Not better than newell who imo is the weakest midfield starter today and miles of cadden at right back so where does josh start?

I agree he’s not a starter. The Newell chat is weird tho. It’s like a few people are just going to continually say he’s poor now without watching the games.

Yes no real weak links in midfield as far as I could see. Josh's goal/assist rams it up the boo boys and self proclaimed football experts on here who've written him off

I thought Joe had a good game today,, and I rate him when played further forward... I just think on current form hendo is offering more going forward and Kenneh defensively.

Totally agree with this guy, should be nowhere near a start, he has a great engine on him, is only 22 but the guy has only scored 2 goals in 27 league games.

We've got experienced match winner like Joe Newell in the squad, Campbell couldn't lace his boots. Only a matter of time before some decent championship steal Newell from us and it will be sad day, hopefully Campbell can step up to the plate like Newell has since 2019.

They can be called out for spouting nonsense. Clearly the manager thinks he's got something to offer - what does that say about their opinions.

yes they can, all of us can

your manager point is interesting, so you must think that Maloney is a good manager then, since he didn’t just bring JC off the bench, he started him in most games? It’s not nonsense to say that he’s been a part of a midfield that has universally struggled to provide anything of note to the team. It’s also not nonsense to say his poor performances outnumber his good ones.

only time will tell if he makes it at Hibs or not, I’m pretty certain all Hibs fans (whether they’ve written him off or not) would love to see him being a success here

I've honestly no idea about how good or where he played as a youngster? First I'd really seen him was the breakthrough season last year but he definitely looks a much better player in the defensive role

I first saw Josh in pre-season at age 19 up at Gayfield and my sons and I all agreed how calm and controlled he looked. Tough in the tackle, played with his head up and drove the team forward.

Apparently he was highly regarded whilst on loan at Edinburgh City (FC Edinburgh).

Perhaps a late developer but I think he will end up growing into another Lewis - Fit, strong, great engine, bleeds green and one who competes for every ball.
