Hello fellow Hibees...

I am on elf the 200 who purchased Albion Bar hospitality membership for this season and was wondering if anyone had any info on how we enter the venue in terms of proof of membership.

Having just received my new season ticket pack I dont see any additional info for folk in this position.

Anyone know anything more?

Probably linked to the QR code on your card. Don’t know for sure though.

Does your ST card have “Albion Bar” printed on it? I suspect, but could be wrong, that it will be a visual inspection as you enter the west stand reception area as I can’t see how they’d be able to scan the QR code twice to access the stadium.

Nope, nothing to suggest I have a membership.

Correct, if scanned once to enter the Hospitality then it wouldn't work at the turnstiles so i can't see that being the solution.

Most likely thye will have a list of paid members using the client references and just have to check on entry. I would hope they are quite stringent with this as it would make a mockery of those who have paid for the pleasure of using the venue should any fans manage to 'sneak' in.

I believe seasonal members in the hospitality lounges will be given a lanyard to wear to gain entry to the relevant areas - it may be that Albion Bar members will get similar to access the West Stand and I’d imagine this will come separately for anyone who has opted to keep their own season ticket seat.

It may be that they manually check names for the derby and hand a lanyard to you on entry rather than posting them out but I’m guessing.

I bought 4 season tickets and 4 Albion Bar memberships.

Received 4 digital season tickets today, but only 1 for the Albion Bar. All via email. Assume/hope the other 3 will follow!

So it looks like entry to the Albion Bar will be via a digital QR code?

Love how the ticket office keeps us on our toes....

Never a rhyme or reason to how they send things out.

For example:-

I purchased my season ticket weeks before my mate yet we receive our physical cards the same day.... so not a first come first served situation.

I also purchased my Albion Bar membership weeks before him and he received his digital membership card at the same time as his digital season ticket, i have not yet received either of my digital memberships.

You would think that preparing memberships, whether it be ST or Hospitality packages would be all done at the same time, most likely by client ref..... but seems to be a free for all, which only gets some folk anxious.

I received an electronic pass (at the second attempt as first one was quickly superseded) referencing my season card. On saving it I find it was actually my Albion Bar pass. Unless something else is sent out, I will need plastic card for stadium entry and electronic pass for the bar. I predict confusion and delay on day one.

I assume its been discussed already but a £15 reduction for a season ticket holder is very poor imo,

The Albion Bar is only available on a whole season basis, i.e. not on a game by game basis and is sold out for this season. Sorry not very clear from my post.

From memory the season ticket discount was previously 10% which is less than that for a few of the current packages.

Opens at 10:45 on Sunday, unfortunately due to the mammy state that we live in we can’t drink alcohol before 12 noon.

Lol, will be nice to see the place at least!

Edit: are you sure they can’t sell booze until 12? If I’m reading the licensing laws correctly as of 2009 the laws changed to 11am…?

Also depends on what kind of license they have.

The bars at Easter Road were definitely serving alcohol from 11am as part of the hospitality and bus package before the league cup semi v Rangers last season.

Here's the email for anyone yet to receive it....

Good afternoon,

I hope you are keeping well.

Today, we are getting in touch to provide detailed information regarding your hospitality memberships for the 2022/2023 season which kicks off with the hugely anticipated Edinburgh Derby on Sunday 7 August.

This season marks the beginning of a new hospitality era for Hibernian Football Club with the completion of a significant seven-figure refurbishment of the West Stand and with the appointment of Elior as our new catering partner, who together with the Club, will operate and execute the matchday hospitality experience.

As a valued Albion Bar membership holder for the 22/23 season below you will find all the need-to-know information on your membership and the benefits that come with it. Please read over the following information carefully.

Your Membership Card

All Albion Bar Access Only membership cards have now been produced and will be posted out first class on Monday 1st August. Digital Albion Bar Membership cards that were previously issued were done so in error and should be discarded. New digital membership cards will be issued by the beginning of week commencing 1st August.

If you have not received your physical membership card by Wednesday 3 August, get in touch and we can organise reprints to be issued ahead of the opening fixture. Please do not leave this to the last minute where possible. Please also note that you should not have received an Albion Bar lanyard with your membership card. This was listed on your welcone letter in error.

Your physical/digital membership card will be required for entry to the Stadium on matchday. Once entered you will be given a wristband which will allow you to enter again post-match.

Your Albion Bar Access Only membership covers all home matches at Easter Road, which includes cinch Premiership and Scottish Cup fixtures.

If you have lost or misplaced your membership card ahead of a fixture, please get in touch and we can organise paper tickets to be made available for collection from reception on the day.

It is imperative that we have accurate scanning numbers on matchday therefore all Albion Bar Access Only ticket holders must scan in using their membership card.

Accessing the Stadium and Hospitality Lounges

Upon arrival to the Stadium all hospitality members should enter via the West Stand main reception. We will have new executive turnstiles installed at the reception where members can self-scan into the Stadium. There will be staff on hand to assist anyone with any questions or issues.

Level 1 – Albion Bar and Tornadoes Restaurant
Level 2 – Edinburgh Club and Pioneers Restaurant
Level 3 – Emerald Club

Once you have entered the Stadium via Reception you will make your way to your lounge where you will be greeted by our matchday hosts who will welcome you into the lounge and direct you to your area.

Matchday Itinerary

Our Matchday hospitality itineraries can be accessed by clicking here! (https://hiberniansso.maileon.de/i/yVxi_0CAbMDjbII89mspoQNx0-NhlWoDiT29wPqw5cg)

These will be regularly updated throughout the season ahead of each fixture should the itinerary details need to change.

What to expect from Elior!

Elior, who are also the contract caterers at BT Murrayfield, were selected as our Stadium caterer following a rigorous process and will work closely with the Club to deliver innovation around retail brands, a fan zone for pre-and post-match entertainment, seven different matchday hospitality experiences and non-matchday hospitality and events.

In what was a competitive, thorough process, Elior were the stand-out tender as we look to offer supporters the best-in-class experience around the Stadium.

Over the summer, there’s been an extensive amount of work at Easter Road, as the Club looks to offer one of the best hospitality experiences in Scotland. With that in mind, Elior has designed a menu focused on sharing the best of Scottish produce.

Alongside this, service will be at the heart of the supporter journey in kiosk and hospitality areas, and they share similar sustainability and social values and will support Hibs’ ‘Greenest Club in Scotland’ campaign.

We are extremely excited about the journey we are all on together and we can’t wait to welcome you all to the brand-new lounges for the opening Edinburgh Derby.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with myself or the team at [email protected] should you have any questions or need some assistance.

Many thanks,
Aidan

Not got a membership this year, but may well in future.
Am I right in understanding; you get a separate membership card for Albion Bar in addition to Season Ticket, and presumably have to come back out, & then go back in a turnstile to get to your seat, even if it is in West Stand?

Correct, you do get a separate card for ST and Bar access.

Not sure what the deal is with west stand seats, but obvs u need to leave and go to your seat elsewhere via a turnstile.

Had I not already renewed my ST when the Albion Bar became available I would likely have purchased the complete seat and bar ticket to save the walk round to the east lol.
