Hi all, Hibernian Supporters are delighted to be offering members the chance to win one of five pairs of tickets in the brand-new Pioneers hospitality suite for every home match this season.

We have purchased a table for 10 in the lounge for the 2022/23 campaign which will give full members the opportunity to experience the new matchday hospitality with a guest of their choice.

Members will need to opt-in for each match by logging into their account and selecting the opt-in button towards the bottom of the My Account page.

The opt-in window is open now for the Hearts game on Sunday 7th August, with 5 x pairs of tickets also available to runners up for the opening night of the new suites which is scheduled to take place on Thursday 4th August.

Full information can be viewed here. (https://bit.ly/3OtXv5b)

Any questions please let us know.

Thanks, as ever, for your ongoing support.

Also a good way to incentivise additional people to sign up to HS.

Yes this is correct. It’s something we’re able to do with the new Articles of Association in place, benefitting both the club and our members.

Interesting idea and I’m all for HSL exploring new and novel find raising ideas. However, at £35,000 per season for a table of 10, HSL will need 292 new donators to join and contribute a minimum £10pm in order to break even, correct?

I do have one question tho, does the new contract for the catering mean that the fee for this actually goes to them, or do hibs still benefit in some way?

So HSL have used donated funds to buy a table in hospitality?

Really answers, very positively, so many issues raised recently. Definitely worth reading the “more details” as well. But I’m the meantime:

Money going to the club - tick.
Benefit to members - tick
Encourage new members - tick
Enables HSL to save towards protecting the future of the club - tick

Great initiative and something most members, including myself, could not afford as an individual

Noticeably too that none of the spaces at the table are reserved for board members. I like that.

Thank you for your suggestion. On the face of it your idea is great however HSL was never initiated as a charity fund raiser and our Articles give us clear direction as to what we should be doing. We have also always felt that our Club has been blessed to be surrounded by and supported by many charity Associations and initiatives already and it didn't really need any more. I do hope you understand.

I would imagine you are a full member. Log into the HSL site and you will see all your payments. If I remember correctly, you need to have made a total of £225 in Donations to become a full Member, then you can download a certificate of Membership and opt into Pioneers initiative. I agree it is not obvious when looking for membership status on the site, but when I hit the threshold, I got an email about it.

That's fantastic to hear. In terms of your question, we don't really look at individual initiatives in the way you are suggesting. As you know, we temporarily agreed to allow our infrastructure to be used to allow Members, and others, to simply donate funds to the Club to help out during the Pandemic. As things are now back to normal we too have returned to our core mission of building as strong a fan ownership group as we can. Some initiatives will work better than others but they are all designed to attract and retain regular contributing Members to HSL.

The opt in window for the Rangers game on Saturday 20th August (12:30 kick off) is now open to members with an active direct debit and will be live until 5pm on Friday 12th.

A few thoughts from the winners in attendance at the derby:

"What a fabulous day we had from start to finish in the pioneers lounge courtesy of HSL. Everything was brilliant and hopefully we can return again soon."

"Thanks to everyone at HSL for the fantastic prize. We had an absolutely brilliant day topped off with Martin’s goal. The Pioneers suite is superb and I’m gonna start saving to go back."

To opt-in please log in to your account here (https://hiberniansupporters.co.uk/my-account/), scroll down to the 'Pioneers 2022/23' section, click the graphic and select submit.

If you're a member looking to restart a regular payment you can do so by logging in with the link above and selecting the drop down menu half way down the 'My Account' page. If you're having any issues please email us on [email protected].

Having had the experience of winning this and had an exceptional day at the Aberdeen game, I would recommend it to anyone. I am confident the Motherwell winners will be in agreement come Saturday evening and would urge all active HSL members to put your hat in the ring for upcoming games. In fact, I would urge HSL members who are not currently active or fans that have not previously signed up but can afford it, to make a small monthly contribution and get their hat in the ring for this experience. It’s a great way to spend a match day and the club benefits in so many ways.

Just got an email to say I've won hospitality for Pioneers through the recent Credit Union promotion. Can't wait!

PS I did ask the wife, a Jambo, if she fancied it and she was tempted, but she then asked if she would be able to leave before the game!

Enjoyable day out. Almost made it to the pitch courtesy of some poor navigation from our food seat to match day seat 😂 and the result made it a thoroughly good day out.

Thanks to HSL and well worth joining and contributing to if you don't, then do (if you can afford to)

Food in Pioneers is top notch, as is the service. A few other things that I think they need to improve, which will be the subject of another post. Mostly the fact that apart from the decor you could be anywhere. Very little Hibs-related content, except a very brief interview with Siobhan Hunter pre-match and Porteous post-match; both of whom I couldn't hear what they were saying.

Folks, don’t forget to opt-in for the Ross County game before the end of the day tomorrow - you just need to log in and scroll down to the Pioneers graphic to get your name in the hat.

Open to members who have an active direct debit. For as little as £5 a month you can become a part-owner of the second largest block of shares in HFC, help us to help the club and give yourself the chance of winning a memorable day out at Easter Road.

The feedback has been really great so far and it’s been brilliant to hear from the fans who have been along since the start of the season.

Any issues or questions drop me a PM or email [email protected]

The above is misleading. For as little as £5 a month, for a chance to win a memorable day out.

As I have said before you need to be a fully paid up member to have the chance of winning & quite rightly so.

I know what you mean. We were sat facing the framed Bukta strip which pleased me as I have fond memories of it but as you say there was little in the way of memorabilia. I thought the drinks service was top notch but the food service was a bit haphazard despite there being loads of staff. I got a meat starter despite staying I didn't eat meat. And at half time a single mini macaroni pie was a bit mean. People in the Edinburgh suite seemed to have so many pies that they were carrying handfuls out for the second half. Ryan came over to our table as he knows my son but it would be good to also maybe see some former players involved during the day.

Apologies if you felt that I was misleading - but it says it’s open to members. You can’t be a member unless you’re fully paid up?

Did you get your soft drink order at half-time? I'd completely forgotten I'd ordered a Diet Coke until my brother reminded me after the game, as his fresh orange and lemonade was nowhere to be seen either. I guess the fact I got a cup of tea made me forget about it. Well, it was actually half a cup of tea, as the jug they were serving it in ran out. What made that worse was that I wanted coffee, but was told they'd ran out, before 2 servers then came back within minutes of each other offering coffee to my brother! The mini steak pie was tasty, but lukewarm. I wasn't too concerned about the size, as I was still full after the excellent meal!

The last thing I wanted to say was it was sad some folk hadn't taken up their places for the match. There was a 6-seater table next to us that remained empty throughout. I totally get that folk have paid up front and it's up to them whether they use it or not, but perhaps would be nice that if they knew they weren't going to take up the table for it to be offered to someone else, maybe either through a draw of season ticket holders or in some way given to those who wouldn't normally be able to afford hospitality.

I guess Hibs wouldn't want to rock the boat with those people who have forked out a great deal of money upfront, but maybe something like an email or call by Hibs to the folk a week or so before each game confirming that they wish to take up their seats? Could even use it as an opportunity to get feedback or improvement ideas.

Interesting, I’m in the Edin Club and we can’t hear the post match interviews either - thought in Pioneers you’d be able to hear it at least. Hopefully easily sorted by some speakers and better audio throughout the whole level.

The food and decor has much improved where I am but the bar service is still incredibly patchy, reckon bar must be missing out on a fortune. Big fan of the tall tables in Edin Club where you can stand if you want or sit, really sociable vibe.

We did get our drinks at half time but you’re right about the tea and coffee. Both seemed to have ran out was the answer from a number of servers. I asked for another mini macaroni pie because I’m a greedy b….r but was told by one server they had run out. I then suggested to another server could I get one from the Edinburgh suite and she helpfully did. Overall it’s a great experience but if they don’t improve the organisation people will be put off.

Hi folks, the Hibees are back and the opt-in window for Hibernian Supporters members is open now for the festive fixtures against Livingston (24th Dec) and Celtic (28th Dec).

The feedback we've had from attendees so far this season has been really positive and by all accounts it's proving to be an enjoyable day out for members and their guests (winning football not guaranteed as part of your prize).

Click here (https://hiberniansupporters.co.uk/latest-news/) for more info or log in to your account at https://hiberniansupporters.co.uk/my-account/ and select the 'Opt-in' button below each fixture.

Good luck!

As this is a cup tie can previous winners opt in or are they excluded?

In the interests of giving as many people the chance to win we’ll keep it the same as the league games with previous winners unable to win again.

If you’ve got a nice friend who is yet to win they can always opt in and take you as their guest if you speak nicely to them…

We’ve had 80 unique winners so far this season, with 80 guests accompanying them at our 16 home games (excluding the LC).

Members can only win once a season. The website allows you to opt-in again after winning but these names are removed before each draw.
