For many fans this would be their first look at our under 18 left back.
However we all seen what a lovely footballer he is.
He’s not physical enough to play first team football.
But he is definitely talented.

St Mirren and Dundee Utd played 16 year olds last season in the league
We’ve got more of a chance of selling on our young talent, if we play them, not every week, but give them some game opportunities

Him and Blaney both looked good.

No need to rush them but would be good to see them again this season.

Can anyone please tell me if he is related to the Scottish golfer Robert?

Thought McIntyre had a really shaky start but once he got past that he was really good. Quality on the ball, just the physicality that’ll be an issue just now.

Blaney was really good as well.

They are brothers, and related to the golfer, any one that’s interested the under 18s play dunbar tuesday.

Agree he’s not ready physically, but a great touch.

I wasn’t sure, Oscar and Jacob have both come through the SFA Broughtom school, run by Keith Wright
Fantastic finds if they can make it

First time I'd seen him and I was impressed.

For young lads Norwich were certainly physical and I didn't think Oscar looked like he struggled with that side of the game at all.

He doesn't look far away imo.

I was impressed.

Very comfortable on the ball and was up against a good winger who had played at a high level in Hernandez. I also liked when Hamilton sprinted to keep the ball in play and put in a hard challenge on Hernandez in the process.

Blaney really impressed me too, defensively sound and was stepping forward with the ball well. He also should have had two assists after two absolutely fantastic crosses.

They had a few young lads in but their team wasn’t particularly young overall, the average age of the starting XI was 23.

Gunn, 26
Giannoulis, 26
Sorensen, 24
Hughill, 30
Hernandez, 29

Plus they had Krul (34), Pukki (32) & McLean (30) coming off the bench.

The winger McIntyre was up against is an international who cost a them a few million quid. He handled himself very well once he settled into the match.

If Cabraja’s work permit isn’t through I would be tempted to start him providing he can adapt to a 4.

He was up against there best player today, and was definitely up against it the first 15, after that i thought he grew in confidence and thought he was great.

I don’t think he has any chance of starting against st johnstone.

I thought Oscar had a good touch and composed on the ball but struggled 1v1 and got beat a number of times in dangerous areas.
Good player but a bit to go physically.

Thank you. I'm a massive fan of Bob and remember I while back he tweeted a reference to his nephew/cousin being linked with Hibs.

Thought one of the mascots was coming on…..but played very well.

An exciting prospect and sure at sometime he’ll play in a few league games…….although he may even benefit by going on loan and playing week in week out against seasoned pros.

Genuine question as I’ve never seen him before. Is he slighter or smaller than Hickey when he broke through? If he has the talent and ability now to play in the first team, sounds like from yesterday he does, I’d keep him as 3rd choice LB and play be brave enough to play him when the other two are out.

I was impressed by him. I thought he struggled initially due to the physicality but he soon settled in. I don't think he'll be a starter soon but I definitely think he'll be useful coming on as a sub

Yip, you can’t get beaten that easily as a full back. Hope he grows a bit because he has talent in abundance.

Yes agree with this, the laddie looks game for the physical side of Scottish football…even if right now he looks about 8 stone soaking wet!

To be fair to the young lad the guy that he was marking was an absolute flying machine and not many could have kept up with him. He did grow into the game well and I think he has a really bright future.
