If Marshall, Cadden and McGeady are fine and the work permits are all sorted then I think we will go with this.
Marshall
Cadden
Rocky
Porteous
Cabraja
Kenneh
Newell
McGeady
Henderson
Melkersen
Doidge

Don’t know what the likelihood of any permits being through is, but we could really be doing with Cabraja getting his.
Campbell was solid enough at left back but we really lack any quality going forward, as we did with Cadden playing there, without a proper left back

This team but with Youan instead of doidge. His pace especially away from home will be a massive asset.

I was told at the Bonnyrigg game, the earliest he would be available was the Hearts match

It’s not ideal having a right footer there, Tavares played a nice ball over the top for him today but he struggled to get it under control on his left as it went out for a goal kick.

I genuinely have no idea what team or formation we will play v St Johnstone

Think it’ll be a 4-3-3 not far removed from the first half team today.

Thought we looked alright in the 3-5-2 second half.

We did. Would that of been the 1st time this pre-season?

I think so.

I would put Defierre (sp?) and Tait in the midfield ahead of any of Newell, Campbell or Kenneh

As much as I’m impressed by Tait and Delferierre I just can’t see either starting, and to be honest would look very odd if they did when they’ve not played a competitive game yet.
Youan and Cabraja are tough ones to tell because we don’t know how fit/sharp they are and it could be a big ask to start a competitive game straight away.
We also don’t know about the injuries of others like Cadden, Stevenson, JDH and McGeady.
I’d hope/like to see
…………………………Marshall…….
Cadden…….Rocky…….Porteous….Cabraja…..
………………..Kenneh…….Newell…….
Melkersen…….Henderson…..McGeady…..
……………………….Youan……..
Realistically I think it will be
……………………..Marshall…………..
Cadden…..Rocky….Porteous…..Stevenson….
……………….Kenneh……Newell…..
Melkersen………..Henderson…….Tavares/McGeady(If fit)…..
…………..…………….Doidge…….
