Maloney and LJ signed, i've lost count?
However many it is, we are still way short and both have completely neglected the positions that clearly needed addressed.
The managers may say they have the final say, but i'm calling that out as bollox.
They may get the final say on the players presented to them, but no manager is going to sign players he knows for the future, when they know it's their head on the block when results go bad now.

This is on page one of the summer transfer window on the main board
So 11 this summer for the 1st team
Not sure how many for the development team
Momodou Bojang, one year loan (striker, Rainbow)
Rocky Bushiri, three year contract (defender, Norwich)
Marijan Cabraja, three year contract (defender, Dinamo Zagreb)
Ewan Henderson, three year contract (midfielder, Celtic)
Nohan Kenneh, three year contract (midfielder, Leeds)
David Marshall, two year contract (goalkeeper, QPR)
Kyle McClelland, three year contract (defender, Rangers)
Aiden McGeady, one year contract (midfielder, Sunderland)
Lewis Miller, three year contract (defender, Macarthur)
Jair Tavares, four year contract (midfielder, Benfica)
Elie Youan, one year loan (striker, St Gallen)
14 left in the summer, and another 3 on loan, Bradley, Mackay and Brydon
Maloney signed
Signed Henderson, Ricky, Clarke and Jasper on loan
Delferrière
Hauge
Mitchell
Melkerson
Mueller
So around 9, 3 loans went back
A massive turnover of players, too many?

Taken from SDG post above.
Demetri Mitchell - Good start, looking forward to seeing more.
Runar Hauge - Development squad, could turn out to be a good player.
Emmanuel Johnson - Absolutely no idea.
Ewan Henderson - Wasn't too sure but has looked really good under LJ.
Harry Clarke - Looked good but wasn't surprised he left.
Rocky Bushiri - Same as Hendo, think he's looked good under LJ.
Sylvester Jasper - Started brightly but happy we didn't sign him.
David Marshall - Will be a class signing.
Nohan Kenneh - Good in the tackle but quite poor on the ball.
Lewis Miller - Not sure if he needs a rest but doesn't look great.
Jair Tavares - Havent seen enough to really comment.
Kyle McClelland - Like the look of him but probably not first team ready.
Aiden McGeady - Quick feet and still gaining match sharpness.
Marijan Cabraja - No idea, played at a good level though.
Momodou Bojang - Looks raw but is lightning quick.
Elie Youan - Can't wait to see this guy, think he's going to be the real deal and exactly what we need up front.
Elias Melkersen - Same as Youan think Eli will turn out to be a great signing. Has the right attitude as well by the looks of things.

A tad early to judge LJ's signings. Some of them haven't seen the light of day yet. Who from the current squad were signed by Hecky?

It's a massive outlay moneywise to not see any improvement.

Incredible turnover and yet we still lack a midfield and any sort of competition for Hanlon and Porto...actually beggars belief tbh

The fact that we’ve signed so many and that there can be positive things said about almost all of them speaks volumes about the transfer activity that went on immediately before the Maloney and Johnson eras.
I don’t have an issue with what we’ve done, rather we left ourselves with a ridiculous amount to do.
We’re still lacking in key positions and horribly exposed depth wise to injury or suspension of key players.

Agree with all that.
I do think that we need another centre back but that seems to be getting addressed shortly.
Also I would like to see a new midfielder added. A real heartbeat player who will drive the team forward.
However, I understand that finding and signing such a player will be difficult. Every team wants them and they will have plenty of options.
Might just have to be patient. Not something that the Hibs support has been recently.

If there’s a player like that out there then they should be getting offered a deal to be the best paid player at the club. If the rumours of £10k a week for Mueller and £8k a week offers to Porteous are true (big if) then we should be offering those sort of figures to that sort of player providing they don’t have any history of injury issues.

Still don’t think signing a lack of experience is our biggest issue this summer. Lack of signing players in the position we most need is the big issue for me.

I honestly thought we'd go for quality over quantity in this window and improve the glaring deficiencies in midfield and look for a proven striker. Nope...we've got the scattergun out again and although there are a couple I like the look of we're nowhere near where I hoped we would be quality wise.

Current squad by first manager:
Johnson: 10 (Marshall, Miller, Cabraja, Kenneh, Tavares, Bojang, Youan, Johnson, McClelland, McGeady)
Maloney: 6 (Henderson, Mitchell, Melkersen, Dabrowski, Hauge, Bushiri)
Ross: 5 (Magennis, Doyle-Hayes, Cadden, Nisbet, Tait)
Heckingbottom: 1 (Doidge, Newell, Campbell)
Lennon: 1 (Porteous)
Stubbs: 1 (McGregor)
Paatelainen: 1 (Hanlon)
Mowbray: 1 (Stevenson)
Almost 3 in 4 players made their debut under the current or previous manager. Four of the entire squad are pre-Gordon.

Mad that Jack Ross only has 5 players left and only 3 are contributing considering it was only about 9 months ago he left.
20 signed and a hell of a lot of wasted money there. Who’s fault that is is anybodys guess really.

Yes, this is the bit I can't fathom. It's pretty obvious to all, but not to our recruitment team nor management.

I think a lot of folk did, aye, but we’ve not really seen it yet. We’re still watching a lot of the same players that let us down last year (predominantly because we dished our so many stupid contracts).
We’ll start at Perth next week with 7 or 8 of last years team.

Good point - massive turnover and clear out yet almost last seasons team played against Falkirk.

They could sign 100 new players but if none are central midfielders or defenders then we’ve still not signed enough players.

I definitely wanted a clear out but I'm still not seeing it!! We'll be watching pretty much the same team this year as we did last.
The list of signings by Maloney and LJ is horrible. I don't see the strength that RG was referring to at all.

The team could end up being something like;
Marshall
Cadden
Porto
New cb
Cabraja
Kenneh
Newall/JDH
New CM
McGeady
Youan
Melkerson.
Potential for a pretty different line up there.

I think some of the signings could be decent players. But we needed to get a decent spine and fit them round that. Young players like Melkersen, Bojang and Tavares don’t have a hope when the senior players and players who make up the core of the team have been so poor. Thought the biggest thing we needed to do was sort out the spine of the team and was really pleased when we signed Marshall. But then you look further up and we signed Rocky plus gave Newell and Doidge new contracts despite them doing nothing to earn them last year.
Until that changes I see more of the same.

Or we could go with...
Dabrowski
Stevenson
Porteous
Hanlon
Cadden
Magennis
Newall
JDH
Campbell
Doidge
Nisbet
