Looked really good in midfield in pre season then not seen since?
Surely he can’t be any worse than Newell, Campbell and jdh.
I’d have him starting.

They all looked good in pre season. Personally I'd rather see Dylan Tait.

Both him and Tait seem to be continually overlooked in terms of chances. Maybe one or both will play on Sunday.

i do not know if there is any difference but Allan is shown on the Main Board as being in the Men's Development Squad. So is Runar Hauge, but does it mean anything in respect to squad numbers.

I’ve seen them playing quite a lot recently, totally different players, but i’ve been impressed by both, Tait is a playmaker, still slight in stature, but quick feet.
Allan DEF, very strong, combative, loves a duel, passes the ball well.
i like both, they aren’t a million miles away from the first team.
Stand out however oscar mcintyre very young left back, loads of energy great touch, mabye just not big anough yet.

They are both meant to be Dev players moving forward.

We need someone, somehow, to get control of midfield.
I’d happily try either or both of these guys at this point.

I've not seen McIntyre but I thought Cadden was a disaster at LB the other night.
Campbell actually did fine when he went on and was a drastic improvement.
I've heard a few people say McIntyre looks the part though, and if Stevenson were to be out and it took a bit of time for the Croatian lad to be ready for our first team, I'd much rather we gave a naturally left sided player an opportunity and cut him a bit of slack to make the odd mistake as a result.
Apart from anything else I thought we really missed Cadden on the right.
I know our middle 3 take a lot of flak but I though that most of our problems during our terrible first half came from our fullbacks and front 3. Play broke down time and time again when we tried to create from out wide.

Allthough oscar looks a very decent player, i don’t think he is big enough yet for the first team, but absolutely no reason why hibs can’t try him up against Norwich.👍🏻

My bug last game was that Oscar wasn’t left out the dev game and it was decided we play cadden LB, surely a perfect chance to give him the chance and experience

If he's not big enough now, playing against Norwich would make no difference whatsoever to his development. There seems to be a theme on here that if a promising player shows a bit of form in the under 18s, he should be getting a chance in the first team.
It's all very well for some of them to look good against a level age group, but a completely different issue stepping up a level too far. That won't fast track them into a first team player. Having the development team allows the younger ones to step up to a level that they'll find more manageable. If they can't step up and manage that level, they won't be anywhere near the first team, because they won't be good enough.
It makes it even more difficult for those that have not yet developed physically, and may even lead to a serious injury against bigger and stronger opponents.
On this basis, there is absolutely a reason not to try him against Norwich.

My augment, about Oscar not playing in Norwich game, would be that at certain stages of the season, young players have to see a way forward, if they play well, in development games, as generally they are impatient, so an ideal game would be a friendly against players who are of a higher standard.
I love watching hibs in all types of games, but my least favourite games are friendlies against the bigger English teams, in my experience, there will be multiple replacements of players who are going through the motions of playing.
Unfortunately the competitive games are over, this friendly on Sunday will make absolutely no difference to our season , apart from an opportunity for some fans to mabye see a few fringe players.

Surely he can’t be any worse than Newell, Campbell and jdh.
I’d have him starting.
Think he looks real class. Looks to after that extra time good players have. Would play him central midfield.

I was looking forward to seeing a bit more of him but disappointed he hasn't featured at all since.
Hopefully he'll start ahead of Kenneh today so we can see how he gets on in that position.

To be honest, I’d have him and Tait in the midfield ahead of any of Kenneh, Newell and Campbell. They are probably on a par with JDH at the moment.

He's the most dynamic, mobile & natural-instinct defensive mid we have at the club, to me

They both looked good today 2nd half but we shouldn't write off the trio you mention. They all have attributes - and Newell was one of our better performers today in the 1st. Good to see we have players applying pressure from below though. Tait and Delfierre in particular have done their chances of being involved in the serious stuff no harm at all today. I live in hope that recent transfer income will be reinvested in the coming weeks to up the ante still further for 1st team places.
