Stories circling around the building trade that they have went bust.

Given they are sponsoring Hibs for another 2 years & their names are on the sleeve.

Do these sponsors pay up in full or is it a yearly rolling contract?

Don't think anyone would know for sure but I'd guess it would be paid in installments.

Shame for the company and their employees but I can't imagine it's a massive amount to the club so the financial impact will be minimal.

Think they do something similar with Hearts?

Hope not for the sake off those who could be at risk of being unemployed.

I saw that. Their website just defaults to the names of the administrators. I'm not sure how the agreement will work.

They’ve been provisionally liquidated and ceased trading with immediate effect
Unless we got something up front, we’re just going to have to join a long list of creditors
How much was their sponsor worth?

They were posting on their Facebook page this afternoon.

Something weird going on there IMO.

Maybe promoting themselves as Scotland’s leading gas boiler company when Scotland (and the world) should have already stopped installing gas boilers has something to do with it?

If we are lucky we will have received payment for this season already. But that’s it.

Firstly a shame for the employees and hopefully they get something sorted.

Secondly have the women's team not just unveiled a new sleeve sponsor? Maybe something in the offing there

Their social media is possibly outsourced and the company might not have been aware of what's going on, after all if they are outsourced they will also be on the list of creditors.

Or a scheduled post?

I don’t know the guys involved with that company but the cynic in me suggests it’ll probably be an admin task done to shed debt and a new very similar company will reform very quickly.

At last shout (March 21), they owed their bank £350k, and HMRC £136k, so I'd doubt that. It will have been one of them that pulled the plug.

To be honest that's a pretty bold claim to make when you admit yourself you have no idea of the people involved or assumedly the inner workings of the company.

I used to work in credit control for a good while and saw things like this on an almost daily basis. I didn’t say it indenting to cause offence to the owners, just something I’m naturally cynical about.

Terry went too big too quick IMO. Most of his building/trade stuff have been doing poorly for a while now, so this is not surprise if the rumours are true.

Fun fact: He made his money through P*rn back in the day :greengrin

Yup, far too big far too quick. Jack of all trades and master of none. Could see it coming a mile away. He’s got a Ferrari at least to drive off into the sunset

I get the feeling it’s been voluntary. No way can a liquidator get access to the website etc so quickly and upload a semi Decent looking web page giving the details about the liquidation, especially given it was only granted today.

Does anyone know where the people who signed up to the boiler heating plans stand? can they just stop the payments?

Don’t know the legalities of it but I would be. If your boiler breaks down today they can’t send someone to fix it.

Advert for them just played on Forth 1.

51 jobs lost because of this, absolutely horrible for staff to literally be in work one day and oot the next.

Classic case of over trading! Expand too quick, build up massive amount of debt to new suppliers but can't get the cash flow back into the business quick enough to pay the new creditors.
