Trying to get tickets for tomorrow. Thought you could get etix but doesn't appear to be the option for it. Any tips. Stay out of city so could do without having to collect before game. Are you able to buy tickets at a pod or cash tickets at a turnstile on the day if not, why not?

I got 3 this morning. Just chose print at home option. You can download and scan them from that.

Etickets ? I didn't see an option to get email with tickets which could be scanned at turnstile just an automatic collection

Son just checked via the latest apple mobile and same as myself only showing collections makes absolutely no sense at all. Seems like making something which should be easy very difficult. Why are there no cash gates in a game like this or the pods?

Yes I was. Son in 3rd year uni has already sent in matriculation card few years back. It did eventually work and got digital tickets. Maybe that created a system issue.

Ticket pods were open for away supporters at the last League Cup game in 2019.

Initially, for this game, Morton fans could only buy tickets in person from Cappielow or a sports shop in Greenock. Problem here is not all Morton fans who would like to attend live in the immediate Inverclyde area.

Today an arrangement was made for fans to call Cappielow to buy tickets over the phone before 5pm and collect at the Ticket Office at Easter Road tomorrow after 7.

Hardly encouraging folk to attend is it? Hibs could open a pod tomorrow pay someone £10 an hour to staff it. Would probably only have to sell 2 tickets to turn a profit
Sad state if you cant turn up and either pay or buy an e-ticket to get into a game that isn't sold out.

However we registered his matric card with the ticket office when paying for our season tickets.

Looks like it defaults to collections only if you have a student in your group [emoji3525]

I registered my daughters student ID with the ticket office and havent had any problems (so far) with buying digital tickets for her.

BUT when I bought our morton tickets, there was no digital ticket option available. Really strange & as per other posters seems to be a bit hit and miss

I understand the Ticket Website behaves differently depending on your device. My nephew finds it a bit of a nightmare using his iPhone but has no trouble with the Android or Windows Laptop.

Maybe something for the club to look at.

Why would you want to do that, easy online and you won’t have to join a big queue

Maybe inside the stadium (which is totally wrong as well imo), but surely the ticket office would still take cash?

Agree with that more should be done to encourage home and away punters to come on the day.

They send a confirmation email and then a separate email with the ticket. The separate email always goes to my junk mail for some reason. Then the attachment is at the bottom of the email or has links to add to apple wallet or G-Pay

Many reasons. Me and my smart phone are not that smart. I've had to sign up for a digital account for this match and the payment finally went through at the third attempt. I've already spent about an hour on all of this and still have to go to the library to print out my ticket. (I don't have a working printer and have no idea how to scan a barcode on my phone at the turnstiles.)

I'm sure some people can do all this in 2 minutes but for others it's still a lot of hassle. I'd find it a lot quicker and less stressful to stand in a queue for 20-30 mins, as I did at the Clyde game. The club will be losing money as not everyone will bother or even have the capability/equipment.

I've had an email back fae the TO to say it's open until kick off for walk-ups (though they advise online sales to avoid queues, which isn't surprising of course!)

At the Clyde game there was people still in a queue 20 mins after kick off so would arrive early if folk are visiting ticket office to avoid missing game.

Reading some posts it’s a shame something can’t be done to help those who don’t know how to use phones and ticket and those who want to buy from a pod on the night.

e-mailed that link just after my post earlier jim, mid day, not even a reply and it's now past 5pm, if i had got my two tickets i would have been leaving between 4pm-4:30pm, so that's that idea goosed, would have been finally my first game for two years, lovely weather, see some i know at the footy and was really looking forward to it, i'll probably make a journey through to the big city on thurs/fri and will make a point of visiting the ticket office to thank them personally for their lack of help :( even just an acknowledgement that they're too busy/whatever but will look into it would have been suffice for me

well i did indeed pop through this afternoon, the woman showed me the e-mails received around the time i e-mailed and it wasn't there(even showed me the PC screen), she did say it was the correct e-mail i sent it to though :greengrin anyways, i explained i hadn't purchased any tickets since the tail-end of 2019 then of course march 2020 was lockdown time, she said that some Ticketmaster SSO/SSE/whatever security thingy had to start a new database online, said they sent e-mails to everyone and of course i didn't receive it or i would have registered again :(

two lassies on other tables were stuffing leaflets/folders on a couple of tables piled a couple of feet high, i didn't want to be a nosey git and ask what they were doing :greengrin

Unfortunately I don`t get to ER often ( see all the matches on Hibs TV International ) but was at the Morton game . About 40 minutes before kick off I saw 2 groups of tourists ( about 10 in each group ) looking for tickets and going round in a circle as they seemed to get conflicting advice about where they could buy tickets . There will have been other such visitors as well as Hibs and Morton fans who turned up on the night hoping to see a match . I was in the East and saw some of them there so glad they made it but surely clubs ( I suspect this isn`t just a Hibs thing ) shouldn`t make it so difficult to buy tickets ? This has been a problem for many years so COVID is not an excuse and surely police are not bothered about 10 to 300 turning up at short notice ? Norwich match might attract some ( mainly ) English tourists so again a good opportunity to increase gate receipts and let folk find out about our club . Home league matches in August are against Hearts and Rangers which will be near sellouts , near sellouts but not sellouts I would guess so a great opportunity to fill the stadium with folk who`ll go home and tell their friends about the great atmosphere at ER after paying top prices for tickets . A few years ago ( about 2018 ) I was pleasantly surprised to see Hibs flyers with fixture dates in Edinburgh hotels . COVID may have stopped that but hopefully club is still trying to encourage visitors to go to Easter Road .
Before game I went into club shop . Seemed to be a good range of stuff but shop was packed so I didn`t buy anything . We all know stuff can be bought online and that we can`t sell enough in a shop to justify opening a shop in city centre but if shop is that busy when 5000 attend , maybe club could consider opening stalls in or outside stands on matchdays ? A tourist would be very tempted to buy a shirt or whatever when on holiday at stadium but much less so online when home .
