Came out the supermarket last week to discover the back of our car scraped. No acknowledgement from the guilty party so either going to have to get it attended to ourselves or claim it on insurance. It's pretty minor paint scrapes so not sure if it's worth an insurance claim. Any recommendations? I quite often see a company called Chips Away at work around the city.

Also, anyone recommend a tiler? Guy we've used in the past seems to have ceased trading. Thanks.

If the scratches aren’t too deep then some rubbing compound (T-Cut) and a touch up kit and do it yourself. Usually find if you go to a body shop they’ll advise painting the full bumper which would easily be £250+. Chips away, I believe, price by individual chips/scrapes. Pure guess but I’d say £50-60 as a guide.

sorry can’t recommend a tiler.

For car scratches. I’ve used ECS at The Gyle. Excellent work and decent prices too.

I wouldn’t advise tiling over the scrape on the car…
