If Michael Stewart says a good or even neutral word about Bushiri it’d be a good thing. He is a streaky sort of centre half but dwelling on negatives or creating negatives all the time will do him no favours at all!
Has been Hibs best defender this half.

Not according to MS! Has areal hang up on him.
He needs to keep everyone interested so says things to sound controversial.

I had high hopes for Michael Stewart at one time but he got dragged down to this level after being neutered by Sevco/Jim Traynor. Guess a pay packet was more important.

Bushiri was good today as he was at Falkirk.
Stewart is a right fanny at times, loves the sound of his own voice. I used to enjoy listening to him but he's trying too hard to be controversial.

He was certainly better than Porteous today.

Since he has joined forces with Nicola Sturgeon , sadly the beautifol game is not his first vocation.

Don't bring politics into this please, he's been an SNP supporter for many years, he's just decided to be Mr Controversial.

Bushiri had a very decent game today I thought, onward and upwards for the guy.

He's still the best pundit out there by a mile.
Obviously he's made his mind up about Rocky and it's good to see that so many Hibbies now disagree with him on this but Rocky has had enough criticism from our own fans in the past.
Rocky had a good game today but I'd like to see him put a run of games together against better opposition before I fully endorse him as a first pick.
Porteous was the CH most deserving of criticism today though.

Agree, also noticeable that it was Porteous who came off and not Rocky.

Thought he had a great game. Can’t recall anything that would concern people. Hopefully gets a good run of games and blossoms.

I like the aggressive way he approaches things - whether it's tackling or bringing the ball out of defence.
He doesn't just dilly dally and looks like he's playing with a point to prove.

When did Porteous pick up his hand injury? Was probably a precaution taking him off

Precaution? Aye to prevent him selling another goal. Rocky is begining to prove his worth whereas Porto has some of us doubting his.

Between his first few games under Maloney before he got a bit sloppy and the last few, I think Rocky has proven 100% that there's potential for a cracking CB there.
Absolutely nowhere near as bad as our fans made out to be, chuffed for the lad.

Rocky was absolutely fine today. Miles better than Porteous.
If the performances had been the other way about, we’d have threads how Rocky should never play again.
Michael Stewart is a waste of space. Like Tom English, he’s best ignored.

Maybe we took him off as a precaution because he couldn't comfortably hold one of those multi tip pens?

Thought Rocky did well today albeit against a League 2 side. He definitely has games where he shows promise and for me indicates there might be a player there in a year or two. Also, his use of the ball isn't the worst either. He does normally keep it fairly simple but he's not the most awkward centre half on the ball that we've ever had.
I like Michael Stewart. Sometimes he's a game or two behind with how players are doing but normally I'd listen to him rather than most of the other gob*** that masquerade as sports commentators.

You're right, I totally forgot about that but still think Rocky was better than Ryan today.

Not the first time from you, rocket.
Stewart is being lazy here, predominantly speaks really well.

Now on a level with all the other mediocre BBC Sportscene pundits.

Is he not just offering his opinion?
One that wasn’t all that out of step with the majority of Hibs fans not that long ago?
I think he’s wrong, but I don’t think there’s anything more to it than that.

Just felt like Rocky would need to skin the whole team, round the keeper and rabonna it into the top bins for Stewart to say he done something well today.

Rocky was solid enough today against some massive units up front, particularly the number 9 subbed on second half.
He is only going to get better with more first team football under his belt.
Really think he gets a rough press and hope he proves a few wrong this season.
