I was curious as to how many of the ground of Scotland I have seen a game at over the years. I had a look at each of the teams in the pyramid and my tally isn't bad but I'm sure there are plenty who are better.
As a wee break from the post mortem of last night, how do you score ( you don't have to have seen the resident team at these grounds, just a game). For me:
Premiership - 12/12
Championship - 8/10. To do - Cove Rangers and Queens Park at Lesser Hampden as and when it is finished, I have done Hampden itself obviously and the 2 grounds they have shared at)
League One - 8/10 to. To do - Peterhead and Kelty Hearts
League Two - 9/10. To do - Elgin City
Lowland League - 14/19. To do - Bo'ness, Caledonian Braves, Dalbeattie Star, East Kilbride, Tranent
Highland League - 3/18 - Easier to say where I have seen here: Banks O' Dee, Buckie Thistle and Deveronvale.
So a total of 54/79
Incidentally I have played at 11 of the grounds as well. Anyone else played at any of them?

God you’ve got a lot of time on your hands😀
Only grounds I haven’t been to in the top 4 divisions are cove and Bonnyrigg Rose, which I’ll tick off on Sunday!
Clyde is a strange one as they’ve played at so many grounds over the years. Seen them play at Shawfield in the 70’s and at Cumbernauld I think in the 90’d
Was fortunate to follow Hibs development team for a number of years, and most of them were played at smaller grounds. Seen them at Lesser Hampden v Partick Thistle before Covid
I’ve played at the below ground
ER
Tynecastle
Montrose
Old Love St
Dunfermline
Alloa
Old Brockville
Hermit Crab

The only grounds I need to complete the Scottish League clubs, thats from the SPFL right down to league 2 are,
Bonnyrigg Rose (ticking that off on Sunday)
Albion Rovers
Annan Athletic
Queens Park (when New Lesser Hampden is finished)
Montrose
Peterhead
Not interested in doing the Lowland clubs grounds.
Not played at any of them but I once took a pish in the goalmouth of the Gorgie Road end at Tynie while there at a function. That must have been 20+ years ago now.

Hopefully doing the 42 this year, probably only been to 30+ league and junior grounds previously.
3 games into the season 12 goals, Stranraer, Peterhead & Arbroath done since Saturday, Cove this Saturday then work gets in the way :) we'll see how it goes.

Not much to contribute on the number of stadiums visited, as loads of people have been to more than me, so thought I'd mention some stadiums I've been to watch a game at that either no longer exist, or where football isn't played any more.
Brockville (Falkirk)
Annfield (Stirling Albion)
Meadowbank Stadium* (Meadowbank Thistle)
Broomfield (Airdrie)
Kilbowie (Clydebank)
Firs Park (East Stirling)
Muirton Park (St Johnstone)
Boghead (Dumbarton)
Love St ** (St Mirren)
Shawfield (Clyde)
Douglas Park (Hamilton)
* The previous (1970s) version
**Officially 'St Mirren Park', but nobody ever called it that.

You probably have been to it given your excellent tour of away grounds but what about East Fife (Methil) now also long gone.

Of those I've been to:
Brockville - A 2-0 defeat on a soaking wet day in about 1995 sticks in my mind, Falkirk wore a rather out there white away strip.
Meadowbank - Most recently feidnyl win in 2016, may have been Mark Oxleys last game for us. Him and Porteous got in a right mess or an Edinburgh City goal
Broomfield - I remember a defeat there in the early 90s with Joe Tortolano getting dogs abuse from both sets of fans because he had given an interview saying he had divided loyalties for a Scotland v Italy game around about the same time
Kilbowie - Comfortable Scottish Cup win at an 'all seater stadium'
Boghead - A 2-0 defeat to Clydebank to end a long unbeaten run on the worst pitch I have ever seen
Love Street - Remember a game in 1998 a few days after we had been horsed by St Johnstone in the LC. We lost 2-0 Chants of sack the board throughout both games, preceded the 20 something game unbeaten run mentioned above
Shawfield - Never for a football game but been to the dogs a few times. Like football, the greyhounds are now a thing of the past there.

I’ve been to all the above stadiums before football ceased at them.
I would also add Cathkin Park previous to Third Lanark going out of business.

Sadly, I've actually never been to the old stadium, just the new one. 🙄

Actually went there in about 1972 to see East Fife play Aberdeen in the League Cup. Joe Harper, Drew Jarvis and Zoltan Varga (?) scored for Aberdeen. Real old school stadium

Went to Methil for the Scottish Cup replay defeat against Gordon Durie’s East Fife
My abiding memory apart from how bad Hibs were was the state of their ground the paggering with opposition fans and the strange sight of an old guy wiping the condensation off the plastic sheets they had placed over the their rickety Stand to protect their VIP’s from the cold
The Supporters Bus dropped us off at Haymarket and I thought it a great idea to post my hibs scarf through the letter box of Gordon Marshall Junior’s Hairdressers Shop in W Maitland Street

My main memory of that game was the crushes queuing to get into the game. Was a nightmare. As close to being actually crushed at a game as I’ve ever come
Prem. 12/12
Champ. 8/10 (not been to ICT or Cove)
Lge. 1. 9/10 (not been to Peterhead)
Lge. 2. 7/10 (not been to Albion Rovers, Bonnyrigg or Elgin)

Coming back to me now crushing particularly bad
IIRC Roughie played after picking up a bad injury

Wow, that there is a real claim to fame. 👍
My dad visited Cathkin a few time and he thought it was a pretty decent stadium, especially when they rebuilt the Main Stand.

Lge. 2. 7/10 (not been to Albion Rovers, Bonnyrigg or Elgin)
Strangely I took in games at all those grounds for the first time last season.
Albion Rovers wooden stand is a charming old thing, I think I read that it is the oldest stand now in use in the pro leagues in the UK. The locals were actually very friendly. Pity the big covered terracing is no longer in use.
Borough Briggs in Elgin was just fantastic, a superb wee ground, well kept. They weren’t doing very well and still had 600 there, great potential if they were more successful, and Elgin is in such a beautiful part of the country.

I have to every Premiership stadium apart from Ross County. That includes both old and new stadiums for St Mirren.
I have visited seven from the Championship, Ayr, Dundee, Hamilton, Morton, and Partick, not having been to Inverness, Arbroath, Cove, and Queens Park (current stadium that is having seen Queens play at Hampden). I have been to Clyde at Broadwood but not their current stadium.
I have been to seven League One grounds: Montrose, Airdrie, Alloa, Dunfermline, Edinburgh City (Meadowbank that was), Falkirk (old and current), and Queen of the South. I have not been to Peterhead or Kelty.
In League Two, I have been to Albion Rovers, Stenhousemuir, Stirling Albion (new stadium), and Stranraer. I have been to the former stadiums for Dumbarton, and East Fife but not their replacements. I have not been to Annan, Elgin or Forfar.
I have also been to Brechin, Gretna, and Cowdenbeath from the lower leagues. I also went to Clydebank before it was sold off. I have been to Berwick but for speedway not football. I also have been to Shawfield for speedway.
It is a bit complicated having seen Airdrie play at Cumbernauld, Albion play at Hamilton, Hamilton at Firhill, Clydebank at Dumbarton, etc.

Must be up there with Rain Rovers and QoTS main stands as well.
Thats closed for safety reasons but it would be good if they could find the funds to bring it back into use
