Genuinely hope we get campbell moved on before the end of the summer.

His level is no better than L1.

I’m sick of seeing him in the starting 11 and thinking his performance will be any different from what we get.

I was a fan of Newell but I’m getting sick and tired of seeing performances from him like tonight. Slower than a week in the jail and barely ever looks to go forward.

Newell should have been given the boot after getting done for drink driving. Now can’t run pass shot or tackle unless it’s giving away fouls.
Campbell is powder puff in the tackle, his drive, passing, crossing and shooting. His lunge on the Falkirk player was disgraceful and I was was shouting for a red purely to get him suspended and out the team

Agreed,if LJ cannot get rid of Newell it will be a repeat of last season,Campbell not good enough ,Newell is an very expensive dud.

100%. He’s so, so bad. Not his fault he’s being thrown in but he needs to go back to League 2 and develop more. On a hiding to nothing with us now.

Campbell is a part time footballer. Shouldn’t be anywhere near Hibs and it’s laughable folk we’re suggesting LJ could get a tune out him and that it was Maloneys fault he was pish.

Likewise Newell. Nowhere near good enough for this level and should be binned at the first opportunity.

Fraser Murray contributed more than him and got punted out the door.

Appreciate he’s a fan living his dream but we cannot afford passengers this season.

Never wants to drive forward with the ball and would rather pass it back to where it came from.

If Campbell, Newell or Bushiri start in Perth we're in trouble.

Newell should be done now as an automatic start as we have better in Henderson and McGeady.

I couldn’t agree more on Campbell and if LJ can’t recognise that then he should just pack it in now.

If he learns his lesson and never plays him again then at least we will get a silver lining from tonight.

A wee while back I would have agreed with you. But JDH will be a far better player in a LJ team than Newell in my opinion. Newell just doesn't have the speed or engine to play a pressing game.

Agree. Campbell is sadly miles short of what we need, just doesn't have it at this level. Newell performs only when he fancies it and that's getting to be a rarity now. At least JDH is a solid enough performer who looks decent when we're playing well.

Not even having a pop at you but when does Campbell ever blow hot?

He is so far below the standard needed it’s crazy and it’s not a joke to say that he would not start a game for Falkirk.

I’ve defended Newell a lot on the board but towards the end of last season he was starting to annoy me and it’s continued tonight. Replacements needed but it might be easier said than done.

This 100%. What is really worrying is that the new manager thinks he is a key part of the squad. Does not bode well for the season ahead.

As for Newell, I've said it before hes a decent player when you are ahead in a game but when you are one nil down chasing a game he's a total waste of space.
