I'm sure there was a tweet a couple of weeks back stating Stoke, somebody's got there red and white stripes mixed up!.. shame it's behind closed doors.

Is it being streamed on recast? I might need to start watching some adds to get enough tokens if it is 😁

Just seen the match report and looks like Laidlaw played well.

Dev squad beat Sheffield Utd 23's 1-0 thanks to an Ethan Laidlaw penalty.

Annoys me that they don’t put the line ups in the match report.

It would be interesting to know what team we put out.

Wish we could have had a pre season friendly in Sheffield

That would be a decent trip.

No team line up but some words from Kean after the game.

https://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/article/steve-kean-sheffield-utd-good-test-for-dev-squad

Darren McGregor was a standout performer for Hibs and his experience was clear to see. Steve believes McGregor’s new role within the Development Squad will be vital throughout the 2022/23 season.

“Darren held the back line together very well. He had some incredible interceptions near the end when they were running through us. He knows when to drop off and when to step up, when to hold the line and when to tuck his full backs in.

“I think its invaluable for the young players to learn from all his experience and develop under him.”

From reading the report I could see that Balde, Laidlaw, McGregor, Tait, O McIntyre, Hauge, R Hamilton and Megwa played, but you are right, details of the team would be handy to see

The picture they used in the report has Daz on the sidelines in training gear, yet the report said he played the whole game?

Are these games treated differently to friendlies for work permit purposes?

Yes.

Yes.

It always amazes me that players are allowed to train whilst awaiting a work permit. Surely training is 'work' just as much as playing in a game (fully accept that there might football rules that differentiate between the two but I'm talking about from a legal/immigration stand point)
