I was just thinking the same. What exactly do we pay our Hibs TV Subscription for?

Ideally all interviews and such would be free for fans on YouTube with the odd bit of extra content.

Then Hibs TV would be exclusive training footage/maybe a podcast exclusive to Hibs TV, some behind the scenes stuff that didn't make it to the socials and then game comms and watching abroad.

It seems Hibs are trying to up their media content but seem to be struggling to decide what stays on free socials and what goes on Hibs TV.

I get it free as a season ticket holder, but as everyone says, not much on it

What login details do you use for your season ticket holder access?

Mine no longer works.

Just logged now and it’s working fine, but not much on it that’s new

Maybe not the right thread for it, I’ve got to say, the social media content over the last few days has been tremendous. Hopefully they can keep this level of quality up all season.

Thanks I used first name-surname-client ref as the username and client ref as the password as that's the one I was given for my free season ticket access.

That no longer works so I'm a bit confused how anyone is accessing it any other way.

Probably not, but is there a chance you are confusing it with the Hibs match day site, which was different to Hibs TV?

Sure it was the same last year. You only get free access during the season as that's when your season ticket is classed as active. I think we'll get access again when the new league season starts.

Managed to sign in but only get access to freeview material.

I know it was different to the Hibs PPV site but I'm pretty sure it was how we used to watch home league games last season and I used first name-surname-client ref as the username and client ref as the password.

Anyway it looks like full access to Hibs TV is only available to subscribers again now.

Maybe but I don't think access to Hibs TV has been advertised as a season ticket holder perk for this season, Hibs made it very clear last year that it would be included.

I thought so, cheers.

I'm almost certain that the login last year to watch home league games was first name-last name-client ref and that doesn't work for me now.

The login that does work now is just freeview content only.

I'm not expecting season ticket holders to get access to it again.

Is that not because Sky has pulled the plug on free access to home games on club tv channels, as Covid is now “over” in terms of attending matches? So clubs can no longer provide the service to ST holders which they have the previous 2 seasons.

Yes Sky have stopped allowing clubs the option to stream their home games on their club TV channels but there was more to Hibs TV than just live broadcasts.

I don't particularly care either way as I rarely used my free access when it was available but just wondered if I was correct or not as some people seem to still have access.

As an international subscriber it is a bit poor that there's nothing on it. I asked the club a while back if they make money directly from the subscriptions or if it goes to one of the firms running it and they said they do so I've kept it going. But for £18 or whatever it is a month it may have to go along with other subscriptions the way things are going.

What are your other options? You could just subscribe during the season and cancel payment close season.
