Quite missing the football despite the season we’ve had. Away to the Meadows festival today but could do with taking in a football match.
Anyone know if there’s any matches on today?
Thanks

I went to the speedway in Glasgow last night, Glasgow Tigers v Edinburgh Monarchs. Great fun and always good to beat the Weedgies at anything. Oh and you could have a pint or 4 on the terracing.

Lion King today - was brilliant. £95 though.
I spent yesterday in Colwyn Bay, North wales. I drank far too much beer. Slept on the coach back and had to go home on arrival.
Excellent day though. Top of the league 😁. Everyone should watch more rugby league.
He's here!

When the sun's out a lazy afternoon at a cricket match with a beer or two is a pleasant way to pass the time.

I've watched league on TV for years and always fancied taking in a game live but it's one of the many things I've never got round to. My father in law is a Castleford fan, albeit he is exiled outside Yorkshire these days. I really need to make the effort soon.
Anyway I quite enjoy this break from football for a few weeks. The time off refreshes my appetite for Hibs. I spent weekend at the racing at Musselburgh, took the kids to Craigmillar Castle (would recommend, way better than I expected) and we went for a walk and ice cream as well. Next weekend it's swimming then climbing Arthur's Seat with the eldest.
Football wise I've got Musselburgh v Spartans in the diary and have the option of a ticket for Newcastle v Athletic Bilbao but I'd said I wouldn't be back at St James after the takeover so will likely skip that.

Getting married this Saturday, so that one Hibs-less weekend covered.
Not sure what I’m going to do for the following 6 weeks!

The Magic Weekend is a good way to watch Rugby League. Three games on the Saturday and three games on the Sunday. I'm sure you can get tickets for around £40 for the weekend which is great value for six games.

You going? I'm there with some mates. 2 nights out. Was brilliant last year just hope crowds are decent.

My wife and I are going for the weekend. It's a really enjoyable weekend and never any bother.

Never is with rugby league. I have been going since 90s. Only fans cause issues are Fev Rovers from memory.
Hopefully my team can get back to the championship then challenge for super league like the good old days.
