Right ok, thanks Sunderland Fan.
Not sure I'm going to take the word of Sunderland fan as gospel, they're a basket case of a club.

TBF, both the positives and negatives have been repeated from a few sources. I think it'll be a bit of a rollercoasters with a few pumpings along the way - both for and against us.
If we get goals, attacking football and a decent squad coming in then I'll be happy. I want to enjoy Hibs again after this season and also the pandemic and if we get that then for me, winner.

Think we can over-analyse managers…..every manager will have pluses and minuses…..rather than think about it too much, I’m just going to get on board for the ride…..

That's where I am Bigwheel. We're not going to get top of the range managers on our budget but listening to Johnson he might just do the business. He's got my backing 100% as any Hibs manager would :agree:

Agree with what he called " management speak " didn't understand a word of his "acceptance speech " . Anyhow - all the best Lee .
I think the good thing is there is time now before Johnson has his first game in charge by which time we will all be behind hibs for the new season
I am feeling quite positive now based on what I have heard.

While I don't disregard it, there are Hibs fans who didn't rate Stubbs or Mowbray and think they got lucky.
So yeah, fans talk utter rubbish too.

Opinions are fine, it’s a part of the game and why so many people enjoy the sport.
If a player or manager do really well at one club it doesn’t mean they are going to be equally fantastic at their next club and vice versa, football doesn’t work like that.
Lee’s tenure is either going to be a success or it’s going to be a disappointment. I hope it’s a success.

Stubbs was a hero for us. Ask St Mirren fans their opinion on him. Heckingbottom was a hero for Barnsley. Ask Hibs fans their opinion on him. Needs to be the right club, right manager at the right time for it to click. And everyone's opinion is different.

Expectations also play a part. We've never recovered from the expectation that every hibs team should be like the one that had a multi million pound English Premier league midfielder in it.
Maybe now we've had a rotten season the expectation will be to see some entertaining football and goals, which will in turn mean Johnson is a success, at least initially.

So it's vaguely interesting to know what fans of our new manager's last team thought of him? Sorry to have annoyed you so much. Jeezo.

Same here
C'mon Sunderland.
Biggest team in the North East...and female season ticket holders need not be accompanied by a male.
Sunderland lose today and the decision to sack Johnson was a shocker.
I believe they was 3rd at the time but finished 5th. They have to go up today.
