Has anyone on here had any experience with these anti anxiety / depressant drugs.

I am particularly interested in those who have been on both and really want to know what the difference is, in your personal experience.

I speak as someone who has been on SSRIs (Paroxetine) for years, but just don’t think they are working much anymore.

Apologies, but I couldn’t find the Mental Health thread that used to run on here. I may have missed it and if so I would be happy for one of the Mods to place this post in there.

You need to be really careful about assuming one person’s experience of meds will be the same as another persons. It just depends if it fits your particular inner chemistry and unfortunately no one will be able to tell you that. It’s a matter of speaking to professionals (if you can get off a waiting list) and experimenting with what your body tells you. Coming off SSRIs should be approached very cautiously and generally come off slow.
