I’ve been very vocal about how I feel that the club has lost a lot of its soul this season but start to finish today was excellently done by Hibs.
The entertainers outside, the tribute to absent friends, the performance being much more like it, judging the mood just right with it being a lap for the players to show their appreciation for the support and least but not least the fantastic efforts of Stevie, Dnipro Kids and the club to offer a significant show of support to the children of Dnipro.
Nobody will mind a bit more advertising around the stadium or some of the things we’ve seen come in this season if we see more of the above. Today felt like the most authentic Easter Road has felt in a while.
Would love to see more of this sort of thing the next season, whether it’s showcasing projects in the area with the big screens or something else but that was a good afternoon out for the first time in a while.
