Well done the Citizens!
Played really well on Tuesday and battered tonight but done enough!
Special mention to Innes Murray and Schwake!
Will definitely be down to Meadowbank (🤞) next season!

It'll be 2000 once they build the stand on the other side of the pitch. Hopefully they can get it built quickly.

Delighted for them and especially Jim Brown, he was my coach at EV when I was younger and couldn’t be happier for him.
They’re keen to keep the Friday night agreement for next season too, would be brilliant for them getting the crowds of Falkirk, Dunfermline etc through.

If they win the league next year, we might have a Derby!

I think League One will be their peak for the foreseeable. Arguably going to be the most competitive league next season.
In the long run, I'd like to see Spartans get up too so we can have a lower league Edinburgh derby.

League 1 will be absolutely solid.
Kelty, Dunfermline, Falkirk, QOTS, one of Airdrie/Queens Park.
They’ll do well to survive.

Plus Montrose and I believe Brian Rice has got Alloa looking a lot better too

Don’t know how true it is, but I’d read elsewhere that there was very little chance of Meadowbank being ready for next season if they were still in League Two, and even less chance in League One when you consider how many fans Falkirk and Dunfermline are likely to take.

Yup, great they made it but avoiding relegation next year will be difficult.
Good to hear they want to keep the Friday nights, enjoyed the 2:3 Kelty game and Meadowbank will be a lot closer for me.

Great to see Edinburgh City and Bonnyrigg Rose promoted this weekend
Genuinely think the play offs have been a great addition to the game here and so many teams defying the agenda of saving the bigger team dropping down the division

Hope they extend at Ainslie for the season.

Good for them, hopefully they can stay up in what will be a tough league next year. Went past Meadowbank last week on the bus though and it looks a right state, the existing original terracing is like a jungle with weeds and plants and hidden from pitch side view by big black boards

Went past Meadowbank the other day and it’s weird as the pitch is down and the nets are up and it’s just being left there to get weather damaged etc.
Anyway - I’ve said before the main stand is behind the running track so is weird as far back from pitch.
The new stand well it will be a race against time to get that sorted for new season.
Last I heard Hibs women, Edinburgh City were all planning to play matches here.
