Popcorn out - Mrs Roo v Mrs Vards is now in court. They are apparently spending north of £3M between them on legal fees with potential damages of up to ... er ... £40K on offer.

So far sounds like an open goal for Roo as Vardy is claiming that her agent's phone fell into the north sea on a boat trip and her own phone was corrupted when transferring data in some inexplicable way. The dog ate my homework has never sounded so convincing. :greengrin

More money than sense.

The loser loses a fortune, the winner loses a fortune. Have it out in private like adults and then move on ffs.

I think legal experts are predicting a Vardy win even though she 100% looks to have been the leaker. Apparently the burden of proof is with Rooney and without the missing evidence she can’t produce it.

Mrs Roo has to prove Mrs Vards dunnit, though. Not straightforward when the dog has eaten all the evidence. Totally correct that the case, and especially the size of Peter Andre's tadger, is keeping Mrs Mone off the front pages and the BBC.

Yeah that's what I read, I wonder if there's any recourse for destroying or tampering with evidence in a civil case? Probably not I guess.

I went to school with the comedian who came up with the pun WAGatha Christie.

He’s a bit embarrassed that the daily mail is fighting his corner (he definitely ain’t a daily mail reader).

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10801969/So-REALLY-coined-Wagatha-Christie-Comedian-Kent-claims-finest-moment.html?fbclid=IwAR26zIH7xJT4ye74rrIY_hP8rUDlV WA0knWYbfD4cjTH5eEu9a3KChUMP3E

So he’s going to take the other woman who took the credit to the High Court.

Been a long debate on Dans Facebook yesterday and today.

Seems mad that he may be banned from using a pun he came up with.

It’s his joke!

He has been in touch with IP lawyers.
