Promised my two eldest that we are going to go to every game home and away next season. How do i go about getting onto the away season ticket scheme? And is there an initial outlay, or just pay every ticket individually?

You give Hibs your bank details and agree to be debited for every game without exception. Occasionally a game arises where the other team are selling the tickets and you can buy direct from the opposition.

Usually an application form to be completed. Existing AST holders are guaranteed. Capped at around 300/350 people iirc. You all have to be STH at ER.

Don't think there's been anything out yet for next year?

I’m sure I heard they may be scrapping it next season? Don’t see any problem with it continuing though, Hearts is the only game we sell out.

I think you can currently get a prison sentence for that.

You pay the concession price for the category set by the away club. It varies though from club to club. Some don’t do student concessions, some do different rates for different ages. Some don’t even give away teams more than a set quota of concessions. Hibs email about a week to a fortnight in advance to tell you what they have to charge you and when it will come out your account. Be aware it can be 2 or 3 weeks before the game. You dont choose the payment run date and it can sometimes be a bit mental. Think the worst was being charged for 2 away league games and a cup game in the space of 7 days at one point.

Remember we had 4 away games in December 2019 (Ross County, Celtic, Hearts and Livi) and I'm sure all AST holders were charged in the one week for all 4 games.

Well remembered! And in December too 😬

The negatives, as described above, are balanced against being guaranteed a ticket for the Bus Shelter. Can honestly say this season it's been the only incentive to have it
