Maybe so, but this guy and folk like him were and are a direct result of decades of football clubs taking players for mugs, the game itself opened the door and they walked through it. The owners, chairmen and managers bitching about greedy agents these days need to first look at their predecessors who took advantage of young kids with no experience of haggling over money and no real idea of what their talent was really worth.

It's a fact that the whole thing has turned on it's head and now the game is being pillaged by folk like Raiola and even average players earning eye watering wages and something needs to be done about it ..... just so long as the game doesn't forget who sewed this particular wind.

The other thing being of course that if football did attempt something like a cap on agent's fees and players wages clubs like Real Madrid and Man United would be finding ways to cheat their way around it before you could say three year contract.

Yup but then you need FIFA and UEFA and the various associations to be cleared out of the parasites and the culture of creaming money off and backhanders needs to go as well ..
