Two polls created, one for who you think will be the next manager and one for who you want. Odds are taken from https://www.bettingodds.com/thesackrace/teams/hibernian
which also has a profile on each of them (poll has the max 25 options so couldn't fit in all those listed).

Have absolutely no gut feeling at all as to who I think it will be. Nothing really obvious sticking out at present.

My money's on Keane having talks and, like at Sunderland, deciding it's not the right job to come back to. I think we'll end up with SDG.

I’m going to make another poll on our thoughts on the likely number of polls we’ll see on the polls of potential hibs managers🤔

I think it'll likely be Malky Mackay but I want Keane.

KT and Scott Brown. Not my choice but other than it being some random American i don't see it being anyone else.

Thats who I'd like us to sound out. Not sure where he is right now but always liked Slaven Bilic too.

I think we'll talk to Keane (or his representatives), Berg, Cocu & Clement etc, then go after Mackay or McInnes, which would be regarded as the 'safer' options given Gordon jnr and Kensell are taking a lot of heat from fans right now.

What I'd like is a return for Mowbray, with Mark Venus and SDG, but Mogga looked rather drained in that recent interview about not getting his contract extended at Blackburn and may want some time out. He may also see a return to where it all started as simply too regressive, but there could be a sentimental pull if he wants to complete the circle towards the end of his career.
He knows how to set up an attacking team and is well respected by other coaches in terms of developing young talent on loan.

Darren Ferguson. Hearing from a reliable source Hibs have approached him and he is said to be interested.

That would be so depressing ……

Really?

Almost irrespective of who it is, I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed.

I think Ferguson would be pretty good, allowing for the fact that he knows little about Scottish football. He'd need to have the right folk around him.

Just for a second I got a bit excited when I misread "Duncan"

Got promoted from League one with Peterborough last season so he's managed at a decent level (Championship this season). Really struggled this season though and been relegated again.

Wouldnt be unhappy with Ferguson.

My mate heard whispers he was on the shortlist too. I'd be keen. He plays attacking football, scores plenty of goals and would get the best out of Nisbet.

Peterborough-based Jambo cousin says of Ferguson:-

He was pretty popular winning promotion a couple of times from League One to the Championship. Don’t think results in the Championship were down to his bad management, more lack of budget.

Hard to say what his playing style was as it was different in the Championship compared to League One. Needs must I suppose!

It's going to be Mowbray
