Nice to hear the kids are settling in, though homesick for Ukraine.

Well done to Stevie and his team.

Seeing Porty Beach brings home how real it is. Once again, well done everyone. :greengrin

If what our club stands for, needs to be explained to any prospective Manager, then this story should be told.

As a Northfield/Porty boy that picture on the beach got me a bit emotional, thinking about my own childhood days playing down there (old enough to remember the donkey rides).

Good article and much deserved credit for the organisation.

There's a good thread on kickback praising the work of Dnipro kids too.

You get people on fans forums who use terms to denigrate their rivals fans. Never use such terms myself. One such remark doesn't surely spoil the overall sentiment expressed?

It’s unfortunate language like that to describe us is allowed over there, it would be deleted here. But as you say it’s only one remark, best ignored here really.

Sad but true. The Vermin thing is way over the top when it comes to insulting opposition supporters and I'd hate to see similar phrases ever used on here.

However, the vast majority of Hearts fans have been very positive about this charity and, I believe, have even given donations, so kudos to those that can look beyond petty rivalry

Their 1950's nickname for us, "The Immigrants", seems pretty gentlemanly these days.

Wonderful update.
Just wonderful the kids and mothers are able to relax a bit and have some fun
Seems to be good works going on from the charity to education/local authorities etc,
.
When i first saw the thread title i thought it said Dnipro Hibs

So i challenge you young footballers here to get your boots out and organise a charity team on the lines of say Dukla Pumpherston and raise the profile(not that it needs it) but keep it in the news and raise some cash and some good fun.

Involve some of our well known celebs. who are fit enough
First Fixture

Dnipro Hibs Select V BBC Sportsound/Sportscene Teams/Pundits
Venue and Date TBA

That would sell tickets !

Actually it does. It's embarrassing (for them) using that at the best of times and says a lot more about them than it does about us but to use a term like that in a thread commending what Hibs fans have done with the Dnipro Kids charity is lowlife behaviour, so pretty hypocritical of him. If any of the Hearts fans have any sort of morals they'll condemn him for it.

I didn't attend - not my sort of thing! Hopefully my prize was redistributed ( the email went to my spam so it took a while to respond)

Re the donkey kick it might explain a few things, yeah.....

Exactly I’m sure the others would be pissed off if their geniune comments was tarnished by a muppet.
SoH is one of the good guys and I think it’s a shame we have so few Jambos that come on these days. I think the debate can be all the richer for it but understand with the divisive nature of how Social media is that’s just how the wind blow at present.

Was a piece on the kids on Sunday's BBC early morning news, video at Portobello and talking to some of the older kids.
