Good article and great work Kevin, you are doing your bit working for the people of Ukraine and making us Hibees in Poland proud. With your efforts and the fantastic work done by Steve and the Dnipro Kids team it's still a great time to be a Hibee!

Poland already had around 3m Ukrainians living there before the war but that number has now doubled.

I have a few Polish friends - all of them are fired up, they feel like Russia has revealed its true nature to the world. This war has really hit home for them.

Their military are on a war footing, jets flying daily over Eastern Poland (although the population has been asked to take no photos nor report location of any military on social media).

My friends from behind the old iron curtain have always seen Russia this way, so are mostly feeling vindicated that more people in the west are taking their view of things seriously now!

I guess they have relevant experience of dealing with them within living memory.

Perhaps its a pity that Merkle never seen them the same way, but apart from that it is great work being carried out by everyone who can.
