Sad to see one of our grammatically challenged Jambo nemeses having a pop at Hibs on social media and a member of our playing staff (at least until the end of the season) giving it a “like”.
Cheers Sean - I guess East Lothian boys stick together. Shut the door on the way out please.

I literally could not care less about Ian Black’s opinion.
The arse has obviously blew all his football money because he recently came to my house to give a quote for some bathroom tilling. Safe to say he didn’t get the work.
P.S - Lesson was learnt about where to search for tradesmen.
Poor Mackie liking that. What a clown.

Mackie is absolutely brutal. Guy will be lucky to be playing professional football in the next year or so.

Genuinely had forgot Ian Black existed until this post. Yesterdays man for years. The classic footballing nonentity.

He won't have made huge amounts from his very ordinary career. And his Orc career was down the leagues where his wages would have been cheap and cheerful.
He's a class one dunderheid but going back to painting and decorating was to be fairly expected. Why should footballer s be given a free pass to retire at 30 when everyone else has to work to nearly 70. Woulnae give him my money like 😂
As for Sean Mackie...misjudgement there big time. Don't care if they live near each other, went to the same school, mind who gave you your chance in the game but where is the loyalty to players you played with, some for years? Like Porto...

Ian Black spent six seasons playing for overspending Hearts and Rangers. I wouldn’t be surprised if he earned somewhere heading towards £2m over that time.

Why are folk surprised he's working though? And what do people think he has the capacity to do as a career? Not surprised he's gone back to painting as it's what he'll know. I'm assuming of course it's his own business...not that he's working on minimum wage for someone else.

I agree with that. I’m just not sure earning million(s) over a 6 year period equates to cheap and cheerful labour :greengrin

I meant compared to his team mates. He'll have been one of the smallest wages. Let's face it, getting paid to run around kicking folk isn't coming at a Thiago price tag 😂

Black was apparently on anywhere between 6-8k a week at Rangers. And I’ll bet he was on 3k a week minimum before that at Hearts.
That’s before win bonuses, signing on fees etc.
He could easily have set himself up for life. Instead he’s tiling peoples bathrooms. The boys a fanny, always has been, always will be.

Last time I seen Ian Black he was kicking a water bottle after being taken off in the first half and us 2 or 3 goals up. As for Mackie, what a tit, be playing in league 1 next season.

That Scott Allan performance remains one of the best individual performances I’ve seen.

Mackie is to all intents and purposes an ex Hibs player. He'll never wear a Hibs shirt again and barely wore one when he was here.
I'm really not bothered what he likes on social media. Yes, we still pay his wages for another couple of months so maybe he should be a bit smarter but it's hardly like it's Joe Newell pictured giving it 'the 5-1' and liking Hearts tweets an hour after getting sent off v them.

Speaking for myself, you usually like your pals posts on Instagram, Facebook etc out of habit and don’t really read the captions. It’s hardly crime of the century.

So what like others have said is the issue.
The images show that Sean Liked a post and then Ian made a comment on the original post so it would be good to see the original post and not just a snippet!
My question would be why is the OP looking at Ian Black's Instagram?

Ian Black posted about how good a day it was at Hampden beating Hibs.
Sean Mackie liked the post.

Ian Black said something about Hearts beating Hibs on his Instagram. Sean Mackie liked the post. If you put 2 and 2 together, you get that Sean Mackie hates Hibs and was laughing his tits off at us losing.
It's not a massive deal, especially given the fact that Mackie is barely even a Hibs player anymore. Bit disrespectful though.

I'm guessing we are paying most of his wages still so it's very disrespectful.

I'd say it's more than a bit disrespectful considering we're still paying him a wage!

It's certainly a bigger deal than some people are suggesting.
Don't think it's an excuse to say that he's just liking a pals tweet - he's liking an extreme dig at his employers by a moron.
How difficult would it have been for him to just not press the button? Absolute idiot.

If you look again at the posts you will see that it is Sean who liked the original post and then there is a comment from Ian Black. So like I said earlier taken out of context really and what was the original post that was liked then the comments!
The original post is Ian Blacks. It’s posted on his Instagram.

Once saw Black at Costco with his missus. You would expect a Wag to be dressed up, but Black had on some ludicrous trousers and what I can only describe as a woman's fur coat.
He looked like a tit, people were pointing and laughing.

The guy is an idiot but I don't get why folk are giving him a hard time for working after his playing career has finished.
Maybe he has a fortune in the bank but enjoys going out to work every day, maybe he blew his fortune and needs to go out to work - either way fair play to him.

Absolutely my position on it too. I never have understood why folk who need to work all their own lives think football players should be retiring at 35. Why shouldn't they work?
It's a no-brainer he'd do what he knows. That's not a negative by any manner of means. He's keeping himself and his family and paying his taxes, you'd assume.
Absolute erse as a player mind 😂😉
