If you can , let’s all go and show support for our team. Show that we are much more than Kensell or Gordon - and will be here much longer than they are around …

Interestingly we’ve played St Mirren away immediately after the sackings of Lennon, Ross and now Maloney.

I thought this was going to be a suggestion that we take their manager, the same way we take their players.

Many of the players are part of the problem.

How many managers have they got sacked now?

Players , managers - they come and go…the club is what we love - that’s who we support

Meh. Wasted enough Saturdays this season. Think I’ll choose to enjoy this one doing something else.

That was after the game it Maloney had lost another game.

Would rather club didn’t accept losing and try sort it out.

What was happening wasn’t working in more ways than one.

I’ll be there to the club during a hard spell.

Were not far enough clear of the relegation zone to fob off the rest of the season, everyone needs our support and to get behind them.

I feel for David Gray inheriting this mess till the end of the season, I want to give him my full support and there’s no way I’ll allow him to not feel supported during this time and god forbid be the manager that gets us relegated.

I expect it will be a fairly safe, fairly traditional and obvious option. Nothing fancy.

And that we'll see a drastic, immediate improvement.

Hopefully this will go something like St Johnstone away after we sacked PH and Doidge banged in a hattrick. 2 up top, keep it simple and let players off the leash.

A bottom 6 run of fixtures under Maloney was season over and not much to get excited about for next. Has a bit more interest and purpose about it now for me, we can see how we shape up and look forward.

Sure it was St Johnstone after Hecky got sacked, Doidge got a hat trick.

I think we’ll see an upturn in performance as the players will be able to play a style suited to their abilities rather than trying to follow Shaun Maloney’s failing plan.

I’m not sure.

We still have absolutely nothing up top. Cadden has scored 3 goals and is our top scorer who will be available between now and the end of the season.

Hopefully we’ll see an improvement but the squad is a major issue imo.

I don’t think the back three or four in front of them will shape up too differently. But rather than two tens and one striker, I think he might go with two strikers and one ten. Not a huge change but would make a difference IMO and Maloney might still have a job if he’d tried it.

Can’t make the game unfortunately but will be in Livi next week. Our record in Paisley is decent, hopefully another win tomorrow.

I’m in. Pie was the highlight last time, hopefully can enjoy another and a good performance to go with it.

I can see SDG going back to similar tactics that JR used. The buddies will also be very low in confidence so we have a good chance.

For any travelling Hibs fans from the East tomorrow 🇳🇬

🚧 There are still roadworks on the M8 from Ibrox heading west to Junction 26 which will likely delay and increase the travel time to Paisley.

Similar lane restrictions also when heading back east from Junction 27

St Mirren away is historically our most successful fixture in recent years out of our next five fixtures. Hopefully we can get the three points that we need and then we can pretty much relax for the rest of the season.

Over the last 10 league games for each of them our record is;

St Mirren away

W - 7
D - 2
L - 1

Livingston away

W - 5
D - 2
L - 3

Aberdeen home

W - 4
D - 1
L - 5

Dundee away

W - 4
D - 5
L - 1

St Johnstone home

W - 2
D - 4
L - 4

Assume can just scan the tickets from phone given they're on sale up to kick off? Can't see too many bringing a printer to the game with them 🤔

They have average speed cameras along that stretch of the M8, 40mph.

It works really well. I drive it each day and it’s quicker than before the roadworks started!

Happy afterwards that I went. Rune Hauger was in the crowd with the support as was the McGinn clan. Paul’s wee boy was gie excited to see his dad play. :greengrin His Dad - Mr McGinn Snr - looked very chuffed to see the Hibs win, too :agree:
