Notice that Steven Carr is standing for Perth & Kinross in the upcoming council elections. Hope he does well, the right sort of person we need in politics. After his efforts with Dnipro it shows what sort of person he is.
Any other hibbies standing next month?

He is standing in the Strathallan ward, 2 Conservative and 1 snp last time, only one of the Conservatives seeking re-election. StevieC has a good chance.

It’s actually a really tough ward for a working class candidate. Lots of farmers and landowners .. and as you might imagine, the big houses around Gleneagles are pretty much wall to wall Conservative.
Although I don’t live in the ward, I’ve worked in numerous areas within it for over 30 years, so understand a lot of the issues.
I’ve also taken the time to go around the doors and the businesses to find out their views on the local problems.
I can only do the best I can, and hope the voting public choose me to represent them.
