Thought he did very well yesterday, hopefully will be a big player for us?

Good player. Needs to be a little stronger but that will come with time. Linked up very well with Lewis.

I thought he was our best player yesterday and despite his lack of physicality handled it quite well.

Technically an excellent player. He's still in the body of a boy though and we'll need to be patient whilst he physically develops.

Great prospect, has something about him but do think we need to be patient while he develops physically

Was his best game for hibs

Can see why maloney liked him enough to dish out a good contract

However we need players that can do it every week if we’re serious about 3rd next season

I agree but That could be the problem with the future recruiting structure, get players in with potential, deal with there inconsistencies then sell when worth a bit. Maloney and Ron Gordon need to also get an experienced 4-5players next season to guide them through

Played well. Think he’d thrive in a no 10 in a more conventional 3-5-2 or a 4-2-1-3 if we can some pace wide:

He needs runners ahead of him to pass to basically and there’s not much of that in a Shaun Maloney set up

He was taking the ball on the turn really well then getting crowded out due to lack of options.
With the right players around him he can become a really good player for us.

I’ve thought he looks too slow and lightweight and not a good signing at all. Fair play to him yesterday looked much better, had a really decent game.

I deffinately thought that was his best performance, never shirked from anything, keep it up

Aye that happened a couple of times first half, good run but just nobody to pass the ball to.

Some promising signs, hopefully he can take that on next week and get on the scoresheet, that’s what we need from him.

Yes more of this from him is what we need.

With the attributes that Henderson has he could easily go on to be the best player at Easter Road, he's an excellent technical player still trying to fit in at Easter Road and when consistency arrives we'll have problems holding on to him. In my humble opinion.😉

He's young, physically behind where he needs to be but has show enough technically to suggest he has alot to develop and work with

I thought he played well yesterday. What I did find strange was that he was in almost constant dialogue with Maloney, as if he was getting personal coaching. Either that or he was unsure of what role he was meant to be playing!

First decent performance I can recall since signing in January. If we are happy to have players with that ratio of performance then we have no hope.

I think the main reason he failed to properly break through at Celtic was due to him being physically behind others of his age. Some players just take longer to develop and hopefully we reap the benefits

I’ve enjoyed watching him play, and he’s a very elegant footballer with a bit of flair about him. The physical weakness is obvious, but hopefully that will develop in time and we will have an excellent player on our hands.

One or two of his crosses were on the inviting side for Craig Gordon

It happens so often. The tactics or something is way off… we simply never have enough bodies in the right positions to sustain an attack or even - gasp! - threaten to score.

McGinn developed hugely in a physical sense between 22 and his mid 20s.

Set piece delivery was impeccable. On the ball he weirdly reminded me of Liam Craig, and I’ve still yet to decide whether or not that’s a compliment.

Yep, and it was so apparent in the second half. So many good positions but just no bodies there to take advantage. The one in the second half where Scott put it across the face and the one player trying to get in on the end of it was Stevenson. Nobody else was anywhere near. So frustrating when it’s so obvious.

One of the best games I've seen him play for Hibs. Got stuck in and a fair bit of skill as well. Took some really good corners, the one he put inch perfect onto Porto's head when Gordon pulled off a worldie was reminiscent of his brother in his prime.

Literally nobody has suggested that ….

It was in response to someone saying they look forward to seeing him next season. In my opinion I’d prefer a player who is the first name on the team sheet and plays consistently every week. Henderson might still be young but he has played for Celtic, including big European games and played for other clubs on loan. If he can’t get a starting position in a poor Hibs side then I’d question whether he’s worth the money. We have too many bit part players. Reminds me of Sam Stanton actually.

He was tiny at school and took a pretty drastic growth spurt, so it could still be he's growing into his body. Not at all unusual for players late teens/early 20s.

Mind seeing him for the first time after I left school playing for Celtic and I couldn't believe how tall he was. Think he'll probably fill out a little as he grows.

He was always the most slight out of the 3 brothers also.

Really like him and thought he was very good. Excellent technical player and his weight of pass is excellent allied to very good set piece delivery. Looking forward to see much more of him will only get better needs to start every game imo.

Played with his head up constantly. Wanted to make it happen and never stopped driving. Have to say I’ve been split from what I have seen so far but would have him as my man of the match yesterday.

Thought he was excellent on Saturday and just shaded my MOTM amongst plenty other great performances. The boy is definitely a player, the way he cuts right across his markers with the ball at his feet takes a lot of skill and confidence and is a nightmare for opposition. If he can play like that most weeks next season, he’ll be a key player for us.

Thought he was decent - no more that that - not a criticism , but neither was he one of the top players on the park . More of that and I’ll be happy though. Certainly looked more likely to be a first team starter than he has previously .

Thought he was alright Saturday. By far is best game yet but that isn't difficult. He's looked way short of what we need so far. Saturday was an improvement.

I think he’s got loads of potential.

Ive said if quite a few times now and I hope we eventually do it but I’d like to see him being one of the centre mids in the 343 we play.

His ability to receive the ball on the half turn and open up play is brilliant and something we really miss in that area of the pitch.

Hes dropped back there a couple of times when we’re chasing a goal and his long range passing has set up a couple of chances, off the top of my head he had the one to Mueller against Dundee United 2 weeks ago and then the one to Doidge against Motherwell where it was brutal conditions.

Weve seen his brother Liam succeed in Italy’s dropping deep and Ewan had played deeper in the past so I think it’s something we need to try.

It also allows for a bit more pace and goalscoring threat in the front 3 positions.

I accept he's probably had a quieter start at Hibs than most of us would like but can we not just give credit where it is due?

He stood up very well in a massive game for us and his performance was a real bright spot during what were a tough few weeks for us.

We've seen what he's capable of, now he needs to do it more regularly.
