One of my radiators has a small leak.

If I turn that one radiator off until I get a plumber out, should this isolate the radiator and stop the leak?

We had a similar issue, we drained the radiator as well just to get all the water out

It would depend where the leak is.
Where is it leaking from exactly?

It’s leaking out the pipe coming out the floor connecting it to the radiator

If its leaking from the join into the radiator , you may be able to tighten it if its leaking at the nut.
Just a baw hair though.

Nice one, thank you. That’s exactly where it’s leaking from. Will give it a go :aok:

Proper plumbers parlance there, right up there with just give it a wee nip!
Depending on the pressure behind the leak, a temp fix could be a wee bit plumbers compound like Hawk White. It's meant to be used on threads/olives/couplings but I've successfully used it in the past as a kind of putty that does cure off after a couple of hours. Only a temp fix mind!

Cheers. Heading home soon so if the tightening doesn’t help I’ll get some of that.
