St Mirren realise they are in a bit of trouble. Will be fighting to avoid the playoff spot. We are sleepwalking right in to it without an ounce of fight in us. They are ***** but are we any better?

Chuffed we've been spared the ignominy of the home Livi and St Mirren games, which a host of meaningless games would have been the least attractive.

I'm away the 13th and 14th May, and I'd be lying if I said I'd be that set on chasing the wife out a hotel to make that Sunday 12pm kick-off...

St Mirren first up is a real result. They are playing poorly and under even more pressure than us. Their manager is also battering square pegs into round holes so I could see us winning that game. Not sure we will win any of the others but might grind out a 0-0 or two. St Johnstone could easily win their first two against Dundee and St Mirren and it could get interesting very quickly

I’m sure they had the opportunity of broadcasting 48 games last season and only chose 41 games. They have no interest other than showing Celtic and Rangers, that’s where the views and subscriptions come from.

We beat Motherwell, and had Melkerson not missed an open goal we'd have beat united as well. We'll comfortably stay up. Would this be the first time we'd lost to Hearts and then won a few games?

Whoever is in charge at sky when it comes to picking the games is making a mess of things. There’s at least another 4/5 games they could be showing in the relegation battle/European fight that would get decent figures. They gave up the derby at the weekend to show Hearts v Rangers post split and they now aren’t doing that, which based on the last derby viewing figures and recent rangers games will have meant the game they showed on Sunday will have been about 100k down on what they would’ve had if they showed our game.

The SPFL should be trying to negotiate a secondary tv deal with someone else if Sky aren’t even going to bother showing the games they’ve paid for already

To be honest, the last thing this current side needed was fixtures against rangers , celtic , and hearts.. Hopefully we can build a little confidence and maybe even try a couple of younger players in these games. So much work needing done to the first team squad this summer. Im not convinced maloney is the right man , but he must recognise the utterly garbage first team squad he had inherited

It's acceptable within the context of where we now find ourselves this season. We can't finish higher than 7th but we can (but absolutely should not) finish lower than 7th.

I agree that 7th should not be deemed remotely acceptable at the start of any league season.

We're only two points above tenth but 8 points above 11th place.

We're not going to end up in the play-offs but could be in any spot between 7th and 10th, which is just not good enough.

Considering we finished 3rd last season then those in charge at the club, whether that's the Head Coaches or player Recruitment, have really ****ed up

The Aberdeen home game, at last, one this year, that I can get to, ooh ahh, from Leamington Spa.
What with working alternate Saturdays, odd k.o times, restrictions , little, no, or expensive west
coast trains, have found a new way to get to the Hibees.

Hour and a half drive to Stevenage, get the 6am Lumo train , & return at 6pm, 4 hours each way,
with a senior railcard £42 day return !

Will try this way next season too, as can get advance return fares on this train from £35 !!
Hopefully from these five fixtures, we will get confidence from , and the cup !! We can look forward
to being better next season .
