With the league derby not being on TV does anyone know if it’s available on PPV in the UK?
I’m assuming we can buy it through the Hearts website but then have to listen to Hearts commentary?
Thanks

Won't be available in England on PPV.
Hopefully I can find a link.

This suggests that it is available in the UK. Doesn’t say anything about it being an international feed only?

Yes but as I'm in England it's annoying ha.
Also you should get hibs tv commentary on thier ppv, usually a section for the away team.

Won't make a difference as my bank account will still be registered to an English address and that is how they know.
I'll find a link online hopefully for free.

Have you any mates that are hearts fans that have a season ticket? If so, hit them for their login details and stick the 15 quid on Hibs to win eight nil! (or to buy a few cans for the house)

I doubt that's how it works, much more likely to be based on the location of your IP address.

It's like that for hibs ppv as a message comes up saying it.
I think it's after trouble with VPN's being used at start.

Surely a VPN would work for this?

If you use a VPN they will check where the payment card is registered. If it’s in England you cannot pay so you cannot watch

When ordering with VPN, if you are in England it asks for a billing address. Would in know if you put a Scottish address in.

Personally I won’t be giving them any money.
I’m going to go and walk around Leith Links for 90 mins and hope I return to good news.

It didn’t make a very good job of checking, I have my PPV pass for the match

Just to confirm on the whole England situation, as long as the bank card you use to pay with is registered to a non-English address you'll be fine to watch it even if you are physically watching the game in England.
I was in England for the Aberdeen game a couple of weeks ago and (unfortunately) managed to watch the game after using my card which was registered to my Scottish address. There was a message which appeared beforehand saying that if your card was registered to an English address the payment would be unsuccessful.
I think that's what others are saying already but thought I'd share my experiences as I thought initially that you couldn't watch games in England at all regardless of where your card is registered.
If you want me to order the PPV for you then give me a shout.

Cheers for the offer, been out and spoke to a family member in Edinburgh and they have sorted it for me.
Didn't want to trust a dodgy stream.

Which address did you put in? I'm sorted now but for future reference.

I live in England and my credit card address is registered here, when I try to buy a PPV pass I get a message saying I won't be able to but I just go through the process anyway and I've always been successful. I've bought a PPV pass for Saturday's game from Hearts TV this way.

I get Hibs PPV in England on a Saturday…or has that now stopped?
A question- Is there a reason why the biggest game in Scotland isn’t live on telly? We don’t sell our game very well do we?

Seems like it was posted above that although message says you can't buy the game in England, you can.
Pretty sure my payment was stopped once but seems like can get games again now.

Because Sky only want to show the old firm title run in unluckily for them there now isn't a title race. Shameful decision

I believe Sky can only show one more match at Tynecastle this season and had decided to wait until after the split to show Hearts v Rangers and so they'll show St Mirren v Rangers this weekend instead.

I have been trying to get PPV for the last 4 days and my payment is declined every time as I am in England. I have just tried again by using 4 different cards and all of them have been declined. Looks like I will be listening to Cliff Pike this afternoon.

Is your card registered to an English postal address? If so it won't work. It should if it's a non-English address.

Yes, all my cards are registered in England as I live in Wokingham. I am a season ticket holder so am able to listen to the game but again because of the European rules, I am unable to watch. It is annoying because I would be allowed to watch if I was in Wales or Ireland.

Hearts have already had two home games televised this season I think.

You must have been unlucky as it has worked for some in England. Unless someone at Hearts have seen this thread and updated the site.

I don’t feel comfortable with giving Hearts an additional £15. I’ll just try to find a dodgy stream.

I have tried on my Mac, iPad and iPhone. Stripe accept the card then it is declined because of the billing address.

You would think the bigliest team in the world would be available everywhere.
I am currently in Benidorm, have walked all over looking for the game, nothing, half of the bars hadn't even heard of the hearts.
Scruffy Murphy's my only hope, they are showing Celtc vs St Johnston, (who cares), but thankfully the bar manager is a hibby & says he will try & get it. Ggtth

You paying with visa? I know someone who did and it worked.

Sadly no, we all left Edinburgh a long time ago. My two brothers and I joined the RAF and other family members are now in Australia, South Africa and beyond. I am 75 this month sp despite having a season ticket, do not get up as much as I would like to.

It’s just Engerland where you can’t watch 15:00 Saturday kick offs so if a family member in South Africa or somewhere pays using their card that’s registered outside England then you should get the pass.
