I've just watched an 18 minute collection of his goals, interestingly none against Hibs although he did score against us. I'd forgotten what a great free kick taker he was, absolutely top class.

Saw a clip the other day of him playing against Liverpool at Anfield for Wigan - both him and Caldwell scored in that same game amazingly :eek:

Did he not also do a job on the Hertz fullback Fyssas, got him sent off when he fell down about 6ft away from him????

Presumably there were no goals against us in the 18 minute video that the poster watched despite the fact that Maloney did score against us during his career.

Shaun was an excellent player and had a very good career despite a number of very serious injuries. Loved the goal he scored against Ireland for Scotland at Parkhead.
