Was good fun on Hibs TV for Saturday's live commentary. In a time where many are questioning those at the Club and their links to Hibs, there's no denying that Kevin Harper 'gets Hibs'. Good news.

Fantastic player and also liked him on Hibs TV commentaries .
What does first team scout actually mean ? Coordinating with other scouts all over the globe ? I remember someone here a few years ago posting a list of football agents in Birmingham one of whom was listed as Hibernian FC Birmingham scout . I was told by someone at club we have lots of contacts in Spain though not seen much sign of results .
Watching future opponents ?

He did a great podcast for hibs.pod earlier in the season. We'll worth a listen

Gets Hibs - What does that mean?
I'm old enough to remember him leaving Easter Road for Derby county.

A player I liked a lot, not sure what credentials he has got for a scouting role though?

Kevin was ok as a player.

I didn’t realise he had any great scouting credentials though.

Don’t think he grew up a Hibby but he’s defo one now. Bit like Tam McManus.

So, he took a transfer? For probably more money.

That doesn’t mean he didn’t ‘get us’ now, does it?

Just that he has an affinity for the club. Broke through as a teenager, played for a good number of years and left for a fee. Always talks Hibs up and will have a little insight in to our going on's which may help in his scouting role.

I can't mind any ill will when he left?

He understands the club and has kept in touch with it and done some tv work for it. Great appointment and always speaks well of the club. He moved to the english premier league and scored at Anfield. Everyone on the planet would have made that move.

Possibly both though may be scouting players for possible signings whether that be up here or down south also. He probably has decent contacts down south also.

I wish we had an ok player like Kevin in our team at the moment. He scored some crackers for us and laid on plenty more.

Welcome to the club wee man :not worth

Righto, I’m getting picked up for using the word ‘ok’.

I was merely posting in the vernacular. But you probably knew that?

I would have said ‘Welcome back to the club, wee man’.

But I’m not as pedantic as you.

Sorry though. :na na:

Delighted that he is back at the club in some capacity

His love for the club was apparent for all to hear on Saturday

I remember him as being a forward that would put his head down and run at defences and ask questions with his pace and direct running and could finish

Loved a goal against the Yams and the Old Firm

Welcome back Kev
