As it says in the title let's get right behind the team on Saturday, the team responded to the backing at motherwell in the cup let's do it again

Hearts are a decent side and there’s a reason they’re miles ahead in 3rd.
They’ve not been nearly as good the last 2 months or so though. We’ve drew with them twice this season when they were playing much better than they are now.
1-0 Hibs.

Play the Hibs way, with flare and style and we will sink the cardigan wearing, Rover 75’ing, once-a-month and twice on birthdaying sparryheids.

The guy who has made Hearts tick for most of the season is out injured for a long period. I know some don't like to admit it about Hearts players but that Beni is a very good player, him being out is a huge boost to us.
We played very well in the 2nd half yesterday. The inability to take our chances has been discussed to death but we created a lot yesterday and really should have won the game at the death. Melkerson scores that 99 times out of 100.
Both derbies this season have been close. The 1st was a very good game with both sides creating chances and both keepers putting forward a case for man of the match. The 2nd was a bit of a scrappy battle but we were never outfought at any point.

Old favourite singalong from the 1960s on the bus and game
Player name then would be Jimmy O' sometimes or McBride (Joe Senior)
:singing::singing: Said Patrick to Michael, where is it today?
We're off to Tynecastle to see the Hibs play
Along comes Chris Mueller and pops in a goal
Tynecastle erupted in Green White and Gold :singing::singing:

In typical Hibs fashion we'll be all over them and come up short, or maybe not. I'm going 2-1 HIbs

I'll post something after my three sets of sheets come out the tumble dryer.
Expectations are low so in true Hibs fashion the team will surprise us by beating them at Tynecastle. That will then mean we'll fancy our chances in the semi so we'll lose it.

Been saying this for ages, there's very little between all the teams with the exception of Celtic and The Rangers. All the teams set up as trying to be difficult to beat, anybody can beat anybody, Hibs are capable of victory, there's been better teams than the present but there's also been a lot worse.

We have only lost 2 more goals in the league than Hearts but according to reports all season Gordon has had a couple of dozen world class saves. This doesn't say much for the defence in front of him who are the cause of him needing to make the saves. Take the game to them.

No concerns about us getting outfought by them which is a starting point.

We're unbeaten in four games there which is unheard of in recent years tbh.

True enough we were unbeaten there as part of the nine game run but those were all draws!

indeed, haven’t lost there for nearly 4 years. Let’s keep that going.

- Robbie Neilson’s Hearts have only scored 1 goal from open play against us during the last 350 minutes of football played.
- His Hearts team has only beaten us once over 90 minutes in the 9 matches he’s managed against us.
- Melkerson is going to score a hat-trick.

They have a shocking performance in them, we cannot forget that, and Jobbie doesn't have the brains to change it mid-match.
Said it before, they'll score first, cheer every pass with 15 minutes to go, then BOOM, 2 punches in the last 10 minutes. Game over.
Then come on here to see billions of people chasing tickets for the final :(

It's a fifty-fifty game. I'd just like to see us be positive and really have a go at them; there is nothing to be afraid of. If we do that, we can beat them.

First goal is important, get that and we will take something from the game. Our possession style of play will need to be at its best with such a narrow pitch. Win and we finish top six with confidence going into the semi final.
Hibs for the cup.

We can do it and we will do it, every player needs to step up, the fans have to do their bit too, get right behind the team from the off, make sure they have our full support for the 90 minutes, no groans or moans, no getting on the player's backs, let's not forget that we have a good team too, it's only a matter of time before we are firing on all cylinders and give a team a doing, why not them.

I'm looking forward to this - a nice 3pm KO and plenty time to get absolutely blazing beforehand
Seriously though, will be good to get a couple of pints in beforehand, any suggestions for pre-match?
Platform 5 was OK previously, mixed crowd but no issues, may head there again.

They ain't as good as they think they are. We need to take the game to them, we can win both games, no doubt about that :flag::flag:

Travelling back from Ireland late the night before and while the family are all asleep in the car I know I’ll be thinking of nothing else than the derby. As highlighted a couple of posts above the “later” KO on a Saturday won’t make for too early a rise.
Last two derbies have been pretty good games despite being 0-0 draws, and nothing really between the sides. Should be a good contest and have a feeling things are going to turn in Maloney’s favour very shortly. Haven’t really given much thought to semi as the focus is on this one and looking forward to it very much.

They were ultra confident last time and thought they'd stroll down to Easter Road and not only take the 3 points but even push for a 0-7 type scoreline. How'd it work out? Hibs battled and stood up. They got a single point, of which they were fortunate that Josh Campbell never burst the net at the end to give us all 3 points.
Game before that at Tynie? Another draw. Infact the last 5 derbies at Tynecastle guess how many the inbreds have won?......0
Don't listen to the pish they spout. Let's do this Hibs. Especially in the Semi, I'm sure Robbie Nelson's 2016 money spinning Quarter Final against us still hurts his soul.
Never forget THEY could have stopped (TWICE) May 21st 2016 happening. But they didn't. Cheers Robbie 🏆
Oh,and lastly, fu** the Hearts.

We are unbeaten in last 4 at tiny.
I predict a score draw.

When I first started watching Hibs in late 1960s our Derby record was better at Tynecastle than at home . Been the same in recent years . Think we`ve got a reasonable chance of winning on Saturday , only disadvantage being we`re the team that needs the win so can`t settle for the draw while Hearts don`t need to take risks . Whatever , got to go for win and forget about Hampden till after Saturday`s game .
