Starting 11

Despite all the injuries, apart from Porteous who’s suspended probably only Magennis and debatably Nisbet would be an improvement on today’s starting 11
although the bench was pretty weak with Wright and Scott seemingly our best options in the second half

Demi Mitchell, Magennis, Doidge and Nisbet would all make a huge difference to the quality we had on the bench.

Bringing on Wright and Scott is grim.

The starting 11 is arguably pretty solid. It’s the lack of depth and options off the bench that are killing us and have limited our options so drastically.

I just cannot fathom Scott getting game time over one of our youngsters though. I’d sooner see a Laidlaw, O’Connor or Young get a chance over Scott. Wright I’m less bothered about because he’s at least shown some good things in his play.
