"Delighted that Hibs are through".
Shameful bias on Sportscene :-)
Still one of us. That's what Hibs does to you.

After the way he was binned at Dundee, it gives me great pleasure to watch h th struggling. They’ve not won a game since.

He won the 2 games before he was sacked as well. To sack him and bring in Mark McGhee was a crazy decision.

Exactly. McGhee making it about experience of the situation when he came in was just weird. Mcpake should have had plenty goodwill in the tank for getting them promoted.
On a side note about mcpake (chuffed about his comment about Hibs being through :greengrin):
wtf was with the chat about the macey incident - twice Macey was barged to try and get him to cross the goal line with the ball, the second time by Lamie who’s travelled several yards to do it, then throws himself to the ground in stages when macey gives him a bump back. All the chat was that macey was slightly lucky that it wasn’t a penalty, what about the ****ing multiple fouls on him, leading him to step into lamie?!!!

Also totally edited out the retraction that Collum got it wrong on 2nd viewing

Jazza is a top man. Always wore the badge with pride when at Hibs, leader 💚

He captained the side through two of our worst ever results, but did it with pride and never stopped. Always welcome at ER, jazza.

One of a big list of referee howlers yesterday, booked jasper for diving but let him away with barging the goalkeeper and diving with no booking, he was later booked for a foul which should have been his second.
That gang where very lucky not to see 3 reds yesterday with the tackle on drey as well, I worry VAR won’t be enough to help this lot never mind how long a games gonna last once VAR is introduced they’ll be at the screens every tackle

He was fit to play during the run in when we relegated, but Butcher wouldn’t play him

Yep. Mark McGhee, hardly inspiring. Awful decision, really bad appointment.

Sure they said he was lucky as there was an incident in an earlier game that a penalty was given...

That incident was the defender slapping the player though with no foul previous 😂

Him choosing us over Dunfermline when he arrived in the January window was pivotal in us staying up, and them going down in 2012.
He made a mistake deciding to play on with a back injury in his second season as it severally affected his form with us and somewhat tarnished his legacy with a lot of Hibs supporters.
He was available for most of the back end of our relegation season after he had the op but Butcher opted to stick with Michael ****ing Nelsen. If he’d played, I’m of the opinion there’s no way we we’d have gone down.
I had a chat with him the night of the Hamilton game over DM on Twitter the night of the Hamilton game.
He’d loved being at Hibs and loved being our captain.

Not everyone’s cup of tea but I liked him
Got us, loved our club always gave 100% never stopped trying and never gave up - even in that final
That is all we ask as HIBS fans
Leave it all out on the pitch
I remember thinking it strange at the time that Butcher would not play him
