He’s an excellent pantomime villain and you need characters like that in the game. If Marvin Bartley was saying the same thing about them on yesterday evenings footage we’d be lapping it up. He did give credit where it’s due and said both incidents were clear red cards.

He’s funny on the Sacked In The Morning podcast. I’m warming to him but still absolutely love when we get it right round him and the more we win, the more we do that.

It’ll never not be funny that a dose of the ****s in ‘86 stopped him from winning the league though.

Yup, weird that's the quote. He was genuinely concerned about Doig after the game on the radio. He and Willie Miller both saying it was a horrendous challenge. How he was taken with Melkerson and what great scouting it had been to find him

I must admit to quite liking Craig Levein. As others have said he is what he is and any “digs” at Hibs are often in a jocular nature centred round the Edinburgh rivalry and a break from the Old Firm snooze fest. If only we had a Hibs minded broadcaster to counter and swing a few punches back.

I did listen to the podcast of yesterdays Sportsound at work today and had to keep reminding myself that we actually won the game. It wasn’t initially that obvious from the tone of broadcast. When it did come to talking about Hibs Levein was probably the most complimentary of the lot.
