Anyone know about laptop repairs?
Is it under warranty? What type of damage has it received, because any sort of liquid damage usually voids warranty.
It’ll be our of warranty but story is this.
Galaxy Pro 360. Son drops it screen cracked and doesn’t work.
Try to get Samsung repair but they need IMEI number. There’s no IMEI number on the machine. Deep end!
I’m used to having Apple devices and Samsung aftercare is absolute rubbish in comparison. They’re just not interested!

That's the idendentifier for mobile phones.
Does your laptop have a built in sim slot?
If it has, the number might be near it magnifying glass at the ready!).
Ifit hasn't then the person you talked too seems to have misunderstood the request and thinks its a Galaxy mobile phone screen repair that's being asked?
I think!

The laptop mentioned has different versions, with and without a cellular modem. The cellular version would have an IMEI – no idea if it's printed anywhere or not. Instructions online to find the IMEI seem to describe retrieving it via Windows settings, which is obviously less than ideal if you need it when the laptop's not working.
Samsung's website says that (in general, not specifically talking about this model) IMEIs should be found on the back along with the serial number. Other possible places are the packaging or the sales receipt, if the OP still has them.
If the OP reckons it's the wifi-only version (i.e. no cellular modem) then tell the support folk that, as it wouldn't have an IMEI.

It’s not cellular.
Still drawing a blank on getting anyone to replace the screen.

Could you take it to the Samsung store? I've found them to be great whenever I've gone in.
Eventually. Through Samsung, some company in the midlands took at today. Let’s see if they deliver it back fixed!
