I'd have to look it up but I seem to recall four straight 0-0s under Alex Miller in the 80s.

That rings a bell and was just another reason why we stopped going to the game, the pub was open all day.

Could have sworn it was four straight seasons back then.........

In 1987/88, we had four consecutive 0-0 results versus Falkirk, St Mirren, Hearts and Aberdeen. At least, we saw a goal in the next game, but they were both for Celtic, so that's five games in a row without scoring. I did think that away to Dumbarton was included in the run, but a 1-1 draw away to Morton was before the Dumbarton away game. I recall the Dumbarton game being grim and we needed a late save by Andy Goram to prevent us being knocked out. In the replay at Easter Road, I recall we got an early penalty but missed it, though ended up winning it 3-0.

Immediately prior to the four game 0-0 sequence, we three consecutive games where we didn't score (against Celtic, Dunfermline and Rangers) but ended that with a 2-1 win away to Dundee United. So in eleven games, we failed to score in nine of them.

At the start of the 1988/89 season, we had three consecutive 0-0 results against Rangers, Hearts and Aberdeen.

If anyone thinks that the Jack Ross / Shaun Maloney era to be boring, just think what it was like to watch the Hibees in the late 80s. Hard watch!

Pretty sure it was during alex miller's reign.if I'm right it was Gareth Evans who scored on his debut to end it.

Might be misremembering but didn't we go the whole month of January 2011 without scoring a goal under Calderwood?

I can't remember how many games it was, but the first post-transfer window game was home to St.Mirren - including Palsson and whoever else we signed - and scoring had become such a novelty than the 2-0 win felt like winning the cup.

Not sure when the longest period was but 1990/91 season wasn't great.

We went from 25th Aug to 15 Sept without scoring in 5 games vrs Aberdeen (0-0) Raith Rovers (0-1) Rangers (0-0) Celtic (0-2) Hearts (0-3).

We failed to score in 19 of 40 games that season.

2013/14 wasn't great either failing to score in half the games we played (23).

Is It On....

Seem to recall we has a terrible run which was finally broken when I think Mickey Weir scored against Morton.

Even with our great team in 72/73 we scored 2 goals in our last 7 league games.⚽️🥴
