Their game against Motherwell put into doubt due to a dozen players affected. Here’s hoping we are fine after playing up there on Wednesday.

5 additional players having to isolate apparently. Mustn’t have had all their jabs then

You can still get covid after being vaccinated - the risk is lower but still there. The vaccine is protecting you from serious illness, not necessarily from contracting it.

And jags, not 'jabs' please...

Yes but I think the poster is referring to the fact that players who have been classed as close contacts are needing to isolate and that's probably down to them being unvaccinated.

If they were fully vaccinated, they wouldn't need to isolate as long as they kept getting negative lateral flow results.

Just been in that situation myself where my boss tested positive but I was able to go to work because I'm triple vaccinated. Also found out that one colleague couldn't come in because he hadn't been vaccinated.

Why jabs over jags? 🤷🏻

Why jabs over jags? [emoji1744]Yeah. It's been jags all my life (and I'm old!)... its just since covid came along and the BBC etc down south have been going on about jabs that it's become a thing up here :-/

You mean jags over jabs? 'Cos "jabs" is the kind of ***** Boris comes out with...

(I think there is actually a Scottish (jags) v English (jabs) historical linguistic difference).
