Really liking what I’m seeing from him, he has a very good touch, able to beat a man and has a good range of passing.

I think whilst we’re struggling to score he should be played deeper along side JDH, he’ll receive it on the half turn and play forward with a bit of intensity and creativity.

That would then allow his position to be occupied but a more goal driven player like Mueller or Melkerson.

Something needs to change and I think it would help, he’s also not afraid of getting stuck in.

Could be a good shout. At times tonight he got himself in great positions but let himself down by choosing the wrong option or not being confident enough to be direct and drive forward.

As you say he is a tidy player on the ball and could help us start of moves rather than relying on him to assist or finish a chance.

Was our best player tonight I thought, not sure why he was the one to be taken off.

I can understand going with Campbell and JDH as your two in a game where we aren’t going to dominate possession but Henderson should be dropping back for games like tonight and Saturday. Hopefully that happens and we maybe get to see the front three that finished the game tonight from the start against St Johnstone

Surprised by the lack of responses; obviously not negative enough to generate any interest.

I'm with the OP, I like what I see. He obviously struggled to make much impact in the first game against Cove Rangers, but has been improving as game goes by. Let's hope he keeps it up.

I am yet to be convinced by Henderson. Lots of nice touches, but none of it really leads to anything. I am also not sure he is disciplined enough to play a deeper role and would drift forward and leave JDH exposed.

Could be an option to use him in there. Especially in a game like tomorrow. If we just set up and play the same players in the same positions, the same thing will happen. We need to change something to link things middle to front.

Why would he drop deeper? He is an attacking midfielder, appreciate he hasnt scored yet but its not for lack of trying

Agree just a matter of time looked good on Wednesday and will benefit from more attacking players around him. Really talented technical player should have scored last Saturday

I like him further forward personally, but agree with the OP in terms of the obvious quality he brings.

Scott Allan, in his very first spell in the Championship, used to pick the ball up much deeper than a number 10 would and drive us forward.

Can see what the OP is getting at.
