Team v Dundee

Huge game tomorrow night against the side bottom of the league.

No mention of any players being back other than Henderson and now Nisbet is out.

The only question for me is who plays behind the striker tomorrow;

Henderson - Been playing well, unlucky not to score a couple and has good delivery.

Wright - Played well against Celtic and runs in behind which is a threat we rarely have

Jasper - Has the skill to beat a man and create something out of nothing

Mueller - Been in and out but he’s the one I’d feel most confident of scoring and has the biggest instinct to pop up in the box that I don’t think the others have

Only real change is Stevenson and Doig as I feel Doig needs to play higher up against Dundee to get us up the park and make them defend.

Behind the striker was a real tough one for me and anyone could play.

One thing is for sure we need to make Dundee actually defend and test their keeper as both of them are absolutely terrible.

Stevenson touched on it in his pre match interview too how there’s different shapes depending on if we or the opposition have the ball

Looked like we had a back four when they had the ball and flipped to a three when we had it. We did the same thing at Parkhead but played it much better on Sunday, mainly down to Stevenson knowing what to do when flipping between the two positions IMO (which Campbell really struggled with at Parkhead).

Macey and one other are being given until tomorrow which really means they’ll be missing. The unnamed player you’d assume would be one of Stevenson or Wright as they’d both taken knocks before going off on Sunday. If Stevenson is out I think we’d see 4 at the back with Mueller, Henderson and Jasper behind Doidge. That would take us up to a full 11 out which is crazy

I feel we have to rotate the squad as much as we can given the injuries. I’d have Jasper on the bench as an impact sub, can’t not reward Wright with a start after his performance against Celtic and Mueller should be fresh. Need to manage Lewy’s game time and he’s a good option to have on the bench as he’d allow us to switch to a back 3 or can come on in the midfield.

I’d rather go with Muellar through the middle than Doidge, from the start at least, I don’t think the big man’s a good fit for the style of play we’re going with and I’m not sure he’s fully over that Injury

Of course that option could be taken away depending on who the other doubtful player is

That's a pretty decent starting XI.

If nothing else I think what we see is that we actually have strength in depth to deal with injuries across the pitch without throwing young inexperiencedladdies into the deep end

Clarke will be a first pick and rightly so from his Ross County form but Cadden and Rocky have been brilliant since coming in and I’m not sure which of their places he would end up taking. Most likely Rocky as he’s more composed and better going forward with his bags of energy and pace, but not as good defensively.

Melkerson could come in but no idea if he’s any good other than press and a highlight video!

Mitchell and Doig on the same flank get in each other’s way imo.
