What is Hanlon's injury? Sounded like he was due back with late fitness tests. A setback?

He said to someone pre match last Saturday, would he back in a fortnight
Has Maloney’s match press conference up anywhere?

Scott out - what a loss.

So another 2 young lads will make the bench. Good chance some will be our young under 18 strikers, to replace the strikers who are out

Maloney says none of the six that were out last week are likely to be back over the next few games. Not good news.

Jesus Christ. What on earth is going on at Hibs with injuries. When these guys get injured we’re usually lead to believe it’s a week or two and then they vanish for months on end.

On top of that, Maloney seems to be suggesting that they won’t be in the squad the next few games then will need slowly reintroduced. So probably another few games on top of that before starts. Will be starting to creep towards the end of the season.

Hopefully we cause an upset on Sunday but with the way it’s going I’d almost say it’s a free hit. If we get pumped, we get pumped.

No having any of the six back is a bigger blow than losing these two.

Someone different every week though.

Won't be long before we can pick an injured/ill eleven.

We need a few back for the cup game,it would be hard enough with a full squad

So with illness added into the mix we can’t afford any further injuries in next few games
It’s going to make staying in the top six over the next few weeks a big ask Not ideal

I think Hanlon had a bad heel injury a few years back.

Gutted for both of them.

Scott done well when he came on last week and played a nice through ball to Doig and then scored a goal midweek. Also thought he looked leaner and sharper. This has happened at a bad time as he’s probably feeling semi confident again.

Melkersen you would think can’t be far away and this is another set back.

Going to have very little options, interesting to see if Young, O’Connor, Laidlaw or Hague make the bench.

Seen on Instagram Hague & Melkersen have Covid. Unlucky for Melkersen as it seemed there was a chance he could’ve been involved. Hopefully there’s no longer term affects for either of them.

Note Henderson listed in some posts on this thread as injured.Haven’t seen him listed in any of the reports.Have I missed something.

I hope I am very wrong, but I see young Jasper as a potential injury victim. He reminds me of other players who were lightweight, nippy and tricky,eg Ryan Gauld,Brandon Barker,Chris Humphrey and Jamie McCluskey. The cloggers just couldn’t wait to inflict GBH on them.

The Staggie thugs certainly took turns last week to put the boot into Jasper and Celtic tomorrow will not hesitate either. As usual don’t expect much protection from the match officials.

Henderson can’t play due to the loan agreement with Celtic until the end of the season.

Was confused (easily done as far as I am concerned) when he was listed amongst the injured players.

Melkerson hasn’t kicked a ball yet and Scott has been worse than a man short. The two of them being out isn’t going to have any affect on the outcome of the game.

Honestly think there might be something in the concerns that there's something at training doing this (Melkerson and similar excepted, of course).

He was never publicly criticised for being unfit though. He’s clearly here to get himself fit for his return to Hull next season.

Im not sure it’s anything training related.

Magennis was before Maloney came in

Hanlom picked up a knocked I think

Mitchell was halfed in two against Arbroath

Clarke is a muscle injury in fairness

Newell was subbed off against hearts with an impact injury.

Think it’s just brutal luck

Maloney will be looking to make some of the ball boys subs tomorrow to avoid having to put Scott Allan on!
Get number 23 on the park man!!
